I haven't tried the multiplayer yet but had a blast playing the single player campaign. Definitely a recommendation from me.

I liked it.

It's a harsh game with clunky controls but boy the world the game is set in is amazing. It's one of the first RPGs I played and I still think is is one of the best if not the best. Sure it is dated but if you can cope with it, it is definitally worth it and it is a must-buy.

Fun Fact: I did buy it because the list of cheat codes in a cheat code magazine (yes, they did exists) was over two pages long. :D

Bought it for the coop experience .. and it is a nightmare.
There is no story in the coop missions just guns and many monsters. Gun them all down, go to the end of the level, repeat - but only till you reach mission4. In order to get access to more missions you need to complete more singleplayer missions .. hooray. Furthermore these levels are extrem short. It took us ~10 Minutes to complete these 4 missions.
Singleplayer seems to be much better but didn't play much of it.

If you want to buy it only to play coop - don't do it.

Feels like Diablo, looks (at least a bit) like Diablo and sounds like Diablo - that's how Diablo 3 should have felt.

Overall great game: gameplay is fun, much loot, nice sound assets, combat is responsive, even more loot, steam workshop integration for great mods, editor to make even better mods.
It has some minor bugs (for instance I need to relog a few times till I see my friends online)

To sum it up: definitely a yes if you are looking for a hack 'n slay in the Diablo style

This game is just awesome. Ninjas and dead guards all around.
Definitely worth its money.
