This latest iteration of the Bloons TD series is the definitive tower defense game for many reasons.

It may seem very simple at first but there is a lot of hidden complexity once you dig a bit deeper. There are increasingly many maps and modes (nearly infinite if you include user-created content) and the many towers feature very different playstyles and abilities depending on their upgrade paths. Boss or collection events and new modes (Odysseys, Team Battle, Races, etc...) add a lot of fun and replayability, as do achievements and unlockable upgrades

At it's price, I can only strongly recommend for anyone at least a little interested in tower defense games.
