Very good start just needs some optimization. If you like arcade style battle royale shooters that are easy to pick up, you’ll like this game

Hey you, yeah you. I see you sitting there with that RGB keyboard, second monitor and the conveniently placed bottle of water. Stop pressing the 'p' key you horny pastry puffer in training, you can only bounce the catgirl tiddies so much...

Oh, how did I know? All of your other keys are intact, while the 'p' key has been pressed so many times that the letter has literally rubbed off of it.

Apart from Guitar Hero, I've never touched any another rhythm game apart from OSU! for a very, very short period of time. All things aside though, I absolutely love this game. While it was very short to play through with only the default songs (around 4 hours) I ended up purchasing the DLC and couldn't be happier. As a bonus, the tracklist is really good and has made me a fan of way more music genres (huge plus since I listen to music all the time).

I'm a beginner in every sense to rhythm games on a keyboard and I can safely say that it wasn't too difficult to get into. So, if you're new to the rhythm genre/only played some basic rhythm games like Guitar Hero, you'll be able to load up the game and start having fun right away. To my surprise, I was even able to break into the top 100 leaderboard scores on certain songs only after about 3-4 days, which I found to be very exciting and motivating.

What's amazing is that this game can be extremely casual, but just as extremely competitive. There is a lot of strategy when it comes to choosing which characters to use for a certain song and how you'll ration out your "Fever" (works like Guitar Hero's "star power" and grants extra points after activated after a short amount of time).

After only a week of having the game, I've played 14 hours, which should just go to show how entertaining this game can be. For around $3, this game is certainly a steal and well worth the money. Depending on how much you like the game, the $30 DLC might also be in your interest, so just be aware of that. It really adds a whole new dynamic to the game.

If I could find one flaw with this game, it's the fact that the DLC (currently) doesn't transfer over to mobile, even though you can login on mobile for cross-progression. However, this is only a small flaw and one I hope the developers can sort out.

TLDR: Buy it, you'll have fun
