Very addictive gameplay loop with roguelike elements. Try it out, even if you are not big poker fan.

Nice, short game "inspired" by The Witness. Definitely worth playing if you liked The Witness.

Great puzzle game with a special perspective, reminded me of The Stanley Parable and Antichamber.

"Walking" Simulator like Gone Home or The Vanishing Of Ethan Carter. Short and atmospheric game with an interesting story. Recommended if you like the genre.

Destiny 2 is a very good first person shooter benefiting from Bungies's experience with Halo. Playing with friends the game gets to its full potential when looking for new loot to improve your character and just having fun. After first released on Battle.net the Steam version works also fine and offers the base game for free to try out.

Hitman 2 is a great sandbox assasination game and improves some minor things from Hitman - Season 1. The mission locations are unique and have multiple opportunities to achieve your objectives. Owners of Season 1 can also play all the levels for free in Hitman 2.

A fantastic game with a great graphical style and a big world to discover. One of the best current 2D-Metroidvania style games comparable to Ori and the Blind Forest. Highly recommended!

Deus Ex: Human Revolution is clearly on of my favorite games of all time. This prequel manages to capture all the virtues of the outstanding first part of the series from 2001 and offers about 30 hours of fun in a futuristic cyberpunk world: a captivating storyline, various venues like Detroit, Hengshan or Montreal, a very flexible gameplay system and a phenomenal soundtrack. The mix of action and RPG has a clear focus on sneaking, hacking and exploiting a variety of augmentations to find alternative solutions to reach your objectives. However, there are weaknesses in the somewhat "clunky" combat system and the atmospheric, but slightly outdated visual presentation. The Director's Cut inlcudes the DLC "The Missing Link" that is almost seamlessly included in the main storyline and fixes some problems with the boss battles. In summary, a game that is wothy of the name Deus Ex!

Info: I played the original version of Deus Ex: Human Revolution, that is no longer available in the Steam store, with the DLC for over 40 hours.

The Talos Principle is alongside Portal 2 one of the best first person puzzle games in my opinion.

The combination of challenging puzzles with an interesting philosophical theme and story about artificial intelligences works very well. Starting with simple problems later puzzles become rather complex combining different mechanics but are always solvable if you take your time to think about different solutions until your mind “clicks”. If you are up for a challenge check out the expansion Road to Gehenna.
