Gaming is SO back.

This is the most hilarious and fun demo I've played. Hoping the full game has the same level of polish that this demo has. Keep an eye on this one, it's got a lot of potential!

The gameplay is fantastic. The performance issues...they'll get fixed eventually.

This game gets way too much hate for how fun the gameplay is.

Warriors Orochi 4 Ultimate is a blast, so you should try it if you enjoy the Dynasty/Samurai Warriors series or musou games in general. The magic system is really fun to mess around with, and the characters are generally pretty good. Warriors Orochi 4 Ultimate is missing a few characters that were included in Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate, but they also add a lot of new Greek gods and goddesses, as well as the newer characters that were introduced in Dynasty Warriors 8 and Samurai Warriors 4 DX (not II or SoS). In comparison, WO3U has 145 playable characters, while WO4U has 177.

I'll update this again at a later point once I've made more progress in the game!

Warriors Abyss is a fantastic hack and slash roguelite that plays like a survivorslike.

I've never seen or played anything like Warriors Abyss in my life. It's the best definition of a "one more run" game I've ever played. There's 122 characters to play as (at the writing of this review) and I've barely played anyone (which is a good thing!). I've mostly been playing as a few characters so I can level them up and play the harder difficulties for better rewards. There's a total of 29 challenge modes with 7 difficulties and rewards for each one, and about 4 of the rewards are REALLY good for the first 20 or so challenges.

While present, the story isn't the focus of Warriors Abyss; so if you want a deep story, you won't find that here. Instead, the gameplay loop in Warriors Abyss is incredibly fun and addicting, and you can spend hours trying new characters and builds. Builds can be tricky to get going, but the challenge really adds to the dopamine hit when you get a good upgrade that brings your build to the next level. The meta progression feels really nice and rewarding, and it's also very fast. For example, by about 5 hours in, I had unlocked 60-70 characters already, which is perfect because you need to unlock as many characters as possible so you can find and recruit them during your runs. Otherwise, you end up seeing locked characters you can't select.

You don't really need to know who any of the characters are from the Dynasty Warriors or Samurai Warriors series, but if you're looking for strong characters, you might Google which characters are the strongest in their games, or just choose whoever appeals to you the most!

Characters levels can be raised to 500, and the level cap can be further raised to 700! Additionally, you can randomly find unique weapons (that have added passive benefits) for each character by randomly finding them in reward chests, or by paying a large amount of the meta progression currency. What's good about this system is that it lets you unlock the unique weapon for your main, and then you don't need to unlock anyone else's weapons unless you want to play them.

Overall, I give Warriors Abyss game a solid 9/10. It's really unique and delivers a satisfying and fun experience that'll keep making you say, "just one more run."

It's really fun! I play it solo and it's a blast. I like it more than Elden Ring base game but it is a lot faster paced.

Slay the Princess is... so much more than "just a game". It's like reading twisted yet beautiful poetry.

Each of the game's routes will immerse you, shake you, and even make you cry and smile at the end. I can't describe the rollercoaster of emotions that you will experience by playing Slay the Princess, but I can express how much I have enjoyed playing it so far, and I highly recommend this game.

I highly highly highly recommend buying Slay the Princess, even at full price. Tasked with slaying the princess, taking this journey on a path that leads to a cabin in the woods is worth the price of admission.

Mild spoiler warning for those wanting to go in blindly! I recommend going in blind but this extra information can be helpful for those wanting to know more about the game.

The developers aren't lying when they say Slay the Princess is a love story. Tasked with slaying the princess, it initially seems very strange to call it a love story, but I am here to assure you that it is a love story. You'll have to play it to find out why it is, because that's all I will say about it.

I have really enjoyed its dark and twisted storylines far more than I initially thought I would. This game gets dark, scary, and weird, like really really weird, but Slay the Princess doesn't use corny jumpscares to make you feel scared. Instead, the clever use of strong narratives, gorgeous artwork, and amazing music can lead to a very dark, eerie, and sometimes extremely intense atmosphere. But don't let these things deter you if you scare easily because there are also beautiful moments in the story that will make you smile or cry. It's all part of the amazing story that the developers have created for you to discover for yourself.
