I played Descent, then Descent 2 and eventually Descent 3 many many many years ago. I played online through Kali and Khan. I was a member of the DMC.

I've also played the heck out of Overload, Sublevel Zero Redux, as well as other various games in this universe over the years while previously being rather active in the community

The point I'm making is that I have a lot of experience with this particular genre

This game does a fantastic job of recapturing a lot of the nostalgia of that old 6DOF universe

I wish there was multiplayer, I do miss being able to learn a level to find the best lines to take while chording your way around like the old days, and ultimately it seems they have plenty of work to do (lighting in particular is not great)

Still, all in all, I would definitely recommend this game to anyone looking for a solid 6DOF experience. I like that I can pretty quickly drop in and out of playing very quickly -- it's a good time

It's real good. Lots of shoots. So many.

This game drew me in with the art style, the little touches charm me, the challenge makes it enjoyable, and the story keeps me coming back to finish.

Pretty good start... definitely has some room to grow. The stats are definitely interesting and seems like it will ultimately be very helpful.

Roguelike permadeath space resource management. If most of those words sound appealing, then you'll love this game. Also, this game hates you.
