Minami Lane is a cozy little simulation puzzler with simple, enjoyable mechanics set on the sweetest street around. Daily tasks involve watching your residents visit boba shops, onsens, and karaoke bars while you click on stray cats, passing cyclists, dropped rubbish, and, maybe if you're lucky, an object containing a hidden tanuki!

This game only takes a few hours to puzzle your way through but the brief stay is quite enjoyable. No mechanic overstays its welcome and various shops and dynamics keep the 'missions' (levels you unlock via accomplishing certain tasks) interesting.

The art and music are very enjoyable, though the latter is a bit tiresome if you play through the game in a single setting. Still, I would highly recommend this fun, charming title from a developer that certainly cares about this game.

Did you like House Flipper? Well this is House Flipper 2. It's kind of similar but also different. Will you like? I'm not sure.

There are greater customization options, which is always welcome. Some tools/mechanics changed quite a bit, which feels like an interesting but controversial -to-some choice.

I enjoyed that the developers didn't just make the same game with new locations/homes. Some people may not appreciate that though.

A short but sweet experience with solid game play, excellent music, and a good story.

This is one of those rare occurrences where I backed a game that not only came to fruition but exceeded all expectations. The puzzles are challenging enough to make the game enjoyable while not frustrating enough to have you quitting when you're stuck for 10 minutes swapping signs about. When you complete a 'board' you feel a sense of accomplishment as the wonderful soundtrack begins to crescendo in the background.

I'm sure plenty of folks will mention Portal when talking about this game and the comparison is definitely fitting. I remember having the same sense of awe as the world expanded around me. With each new location, not only do the presentations and skills needed to progress highlight the level design, but the world going on around the puzzles provide a rich story as well. I found a good amount of enjoyment in looking into the backgrounds and reading book titles in bookstore windows or stray signs and graffiti tucked in off the beaten path spots.

If you enjoy puzzle games, this is sure to be a hit.

Fantastic game that has a lot of replay through different modes. The goal of the game is as simple as can be: Kill Everyone. The gameplay stays rooted within the same infrastructure but changes based on difficulty, type of virus, and boosts you can add to your threat.

Once you get into the swing of the game, it's easy enough to figure out. There are even controls within the game that allow you to change how fast/slow things progress - which is a really neat feature. This came also has oodles of achievements, which can extend your playtime by hours trying to figure out how to get every last one.

Greeland, Iceland, and Madagascar are usually where you'll lose the game. Also, reading "GameStop has eradicated all human life on Earth." never gets old.

This game is a lot of fun if you grew up searching for Waldo as a kid. The hand drawn art and scenes are very well done - just enough detail to make the maps seem large but not enough to make it feel daunting. The gameplay is as simplistic as you'd think... just a lot of shifting around, trying to figure out what the clues provided mean, and the occasional, frustrated clicking spasm.

I love that all of the sounds in the game are made by voice as well; really fun, interesting touch! :)

I had a couple friends over and wanted to show them the game, so I loaded it up on my TV and we hunted together for a bit. It was pretty fun as there's so much on screen at any given moment that it can sustain the attention of multiple people's eyes.

I'd definitely spend a couple bucks on this experience just because of how solid of a reminder of my youth it was!

Really satisfying puzzle game. There's nothing better than changing everything to the "you've got it right!" glow. It's a very simple concept, essentially, connect the dots/lines. As the puzzles advance new elements are thrown in: shapes, rotating circles, rotating planes, and 15-puzzle-esque boards,

I'm a big puzzle game fan but I do see how someone unfamiliar with the concepts could struggle. Still, I'd absolutely recommend this game!

I laughed. I cried. In the end, my wrist hurt and my hand got covered in a creamy white substance.

10/10.

This is one of the few games I've played through multiple times and enjoyed the ride each trip.

It's a short, turn based RPG with quirky characters, Psychonaut-esque graphics (yay, Double Fine!), and a fairly entertaining story.

The combat system isn't all that exciting and if you're a person that doesn't like to switch between costumes/character builds, odds are it'll grow tiresome quickly.

Still though - if you like Double Fine, weird characters, good humor, and decent gameplay, you can't go wrong.
