at the point of me typing this I have finished 100% achievements, and the DLC. Great game, by far the most enjoyable fromsoft game I have played.

If you haven't played this, don't let people online tell you how you build or play is invalid. Use those spirits, those cheesy weapons, summon your friend, play co-op mods, whatever gets you through, because the game is worth getting through.

At the time of writing this, the servers are having problems with the sheer volume of players trying to play from multiple platforms all at once.

I have sunk 1700 hours into Payday 2, own all non cosmetic DLC and already have put 22 hours into this game.

Ignoring that, I was given the gold edition of the game, so I was able to play the Early Access when servers weren't overloaded with base and in that time I finished all the missions in stealth (where applicable), loud or a mix of both on mostly Overkill.
What I can say about this game is that it is a huge improvement in almost every aspect over Payday 2, and I'll be sure to cover where it isn't as well

Improvements
Stealth - stealth feels so much better, if you get caught it doesn't feel like it was the game giving a guard eyes in the back of their head anymore. On top of that, your buddy learning the game, still in casing bumping into a guard on accident isn't going to end things automatically, the guard (provided they aren't in a secure location) will simply be escorted out.
On top of that, you can figure out a good portion of a your maps current seed and instead of hacking a computer 15 attempts in a row, you can remember that "Carl Carlsons Jr." has the vault code in his office, and skip the information gathering on that step all together.

Casing - You can fully stealth a few heists without ever putting on your mask now, and it feels good being able to do that.

Perks - Perks/talents are a huge improvement over the old tree and deck system. You don't have to dedicate yourself to one deck, nor do you have to spend points in a bunch of things irrelevant to your build just to get the one or two things you actually want.

Loud - Combat feels good, and Dozers feel like an actual threat again, while also not being an absolute game ender. The weapons handle very well and feel good to use, and the buffs you get from your chosen perks really help in feeling like you get stronger but not so strong you power creep the AI

Downgrades
Servers - I don't hate dedicated servers, but it does feel like it impacts some aspects of solo play and stealth due to ping, but I also feel like as time goes on and the initial hype around new game launch calms down we will see better performance.

Communications - The emote wheel is good for quick comms, but there are no options for voice. I'm sure this has something to do with being cross platform and less of a Starbreeze just didn't add it.

Controls - Default controls are fine just need a little adjusting, but changing them can be odd if you change things like yelling or interacting. I really don't know how to describe it.

UI - overall a really solid UI, but minor gripes. Changing your loadout in a lobby isn't as simple as PD2 where you just cycle through your loadouts, you have to also press a confirmation button that is easy overlook or forget about

probably the most fun co-op game ive played in a long while.

every player can play differently, from being highly mobile low health, dodge based builds, to being slow tanks with a large armor and health pool.
probably the best part is you never feel obligated to buy DLC because mission DLC can be hosted by anyone with the DLC, and anyone can join even if they don't own said DLC. Weapon DLC is nice, but its not required to get a mission finished, but helps instead.

one really great thing is some missions can be done multiple ways. You can charge in guns blazing dropping everyone you see, or you can sneek in with minimal fatalities, and no one ever knowing you were there.

so... dont throw props at people in servers... it would seem people are not so fond of this and you may recieve a ban from the server.

But other than that... Ever wanted to build a giant brick penis?
no? well then... you can do that in this game but if thats not your thing perhapse you want to put a giant brick penis on some rocket thrusters and launch it at your friends?

no? again? really?

well... your probably wont like this game a whole lot then because thats all people do other than role play that they are a cop, hooker, hitman, and other stuff. they just build penises... so many... penises...

the penises never go away... they are always there.

do you know what its like to be building a house and then someone shouts in the mic "Hey wowzies look left" so you turn left only to be greeted by a giant penis flying at you with the force of a thousand suns that ultimatly kills you on impact leaving you nothing but a pile of crumpled up bones?

thats what this game is like.

good game tho.
