I.. may or not be a fan of the genre; I don't really know. What I do know, though, is that Staxel is awesome. Calm, relaxing, and pretty fun, either alone or with a friend!

Into the Breach
I'll be honest and say I didn't expect to like this game. Before it released, all I had to go off of was the announcement trailer, and I didn't think it looked that fun. I decided to give it a try anyway, though, and my my, what a game it was!

This short game made for a school project is simply amazing, and it left me with a desire for more. Unfortunately, I haven't found anything similar that's even remotely worth-while. A shame, that, but you should definitely try it!
