You end up where you begin, the entropy was always within. You only needed to look therein.

20/12/2024 Update: I wish I could mark this review as "Informative" than to recommend the game straightforwardly but it is a fun game that reminds of the old days of Overwatch. Still needs a lot of improvements, visual clarity and bugfixes though, I'd say it's honestly a lazily and maybe hastily done work.

For those who are prone to motion sickness such as I, here are a few recommendations that somewhat worked for me:
*Choose Intel XeSS (if you are unable to use DLSS), choose the "Native" option for the quality and 100% max out the Sharpness setting
*Put Post Processing on Low
*Put Models on Ultra, though High works too
*Put Textures to either High or Ultra as well, depending on your performance
*Use SSGI as your Global Illumination method, Lumen will ALWAYS cause problems either with stuttering or visual clutter
*Put Foliage on Low
*You can tinker and try with Shadows and Effects but they start to get visually cluttering after Medium
*(Important but dunno if it works still) Go to "%localappdata%\Marvel\Saved\Config\Windows" and edit the GameUserSettings.ini file to manually disable all sorts of TAA, AA, Upsampling and Post Processing options. My own additions look something like this:

[SystemSettings]
r.PostProcessAAQuality=0
r.DefaultFeature.AntiAliasing=0
r.AntiAliasingMethod=0
r.TemporalAA.Algorithm=0
r.TemporalAA.Upsampling=0
r.TemporalAA.ClampTolerant=0
r.TemporalAACurrentFrameWeight=0
r.TemporalAAFilterSize=0

[/script/engine.renderersettings]
r.AntiAliasingMethod=0

---End of Update---

If you are prone to motion sickness, don't play. Tweaking your settings won't fix your issues.

Another crappy UE game that relies on TAA and frame generation to 'fix' lazy graphics work, resulting in a pixelated, blurry and eye straining visual experience. I'll keep this review up until they decide to patch the game to allow native rendering without motion sickness inducing processing effects.

TL;DR: If you're Sekiro only and don't like soulslike in general, you won't like this game either.

It saddens me to drop a bad review for this game because it's obvious From Software opened up a whole new avenue with this one. There's cool bosses, cool lore, a whole open world to explore, a double jumping horse...

I have to say the only fun I got out of this game was during character creation. Combat is classic soulslike stiffy, every move feels like it takes an hour to perform even if your character has light load, it's just a classic slow, methodical, souls game just like you'd expect. If you're a souls fan then rejoice because you'll definitely play this game for hundreds of hours for sure.

Again, if you're a Sekiro-only fan, keep your distance.

I'm leaving this bad review not because the game is bad but because it was way too expensive for me (bad currency and ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up regional pricing). I bought the game thinking I'd enjoy it since everyone around me does so and recommends it to me... I don't know, I just expected a nice experience. *sigh* Guess I learned my lesson about impulsive spending.

A lot of "gifted" people worked on this game, that's for sure. I really wonder what kind of methodology devs used to craft such a seemingly random yet very personalized and touching experience. I'll be sure to play the rest of the series for sure and maybe everything else they created, hoping they did create all those experiences as intricately as this one. Definitely try it out.

A very simple management game at face value but it does, can and will get quite complicated before you know it. A great follow-up to its very similar sister game Mini Metro. Very good for both just casually spending time and for wrecking your brain with possibilities of optimal roads and planning.

Most successful and ambitious Resident Evil since RE4. Each stage feels like an homage to different aspects of RE series throughout the years. There's something for everyone here. True survival horror like old school Resis (1-3), Action packed silly moments (5-6), horror aspects that would satisfy people coming from games like Outlast or adventure horror games, the game is basically spiritual successor of 4 and 7 combined and there's even absurdly unbelievably mind blowing moments that would give Metal Gear a run for its money.

Again, there's something for everyone here!

Mercenaries mode and possible unlockables, and not just those but the overall feel of the game, I'm sure, will make people keep coming back and back again to this title. We don't even have any DLCs yet!

Competent RE. RE7 was the revival of the franchise. RE VII.I.AGE is the return of it. Love survival horror? Play it. Love gun blazing action? Play it. Love found footage horror? Play it. Love the classic RE cheese? Play it.

Don't play it if very deep and very well-written stories in games is a must for you though. What do you think this is, NieR Automata or something? You should know what RE is at this point.

Wow... This was an amazing experience that I certainly did not expect from a game with such a low price. Can't say it's a masterpiece; but it was one of the best narrative experiences I've ever had. The way the story was unfolding and how events happening were related to certain characters was simply beautiful. I'd love to talk about the story; but I don't want to give any spoilers. For this price, this game is truly a hidden gem and if you like visual novels and storytelling in general, you'll get a satisfying experience here, maybe even an inspiring one, such as in my case.

Of course the game isn't perfect; but with such a well crafted experience for such a small fee, complaining about rough edges is just nitpicking. I imagine the game had a very small budget; but the overall end product is very cohesive and well-put. From the 3D assets to 2D CGs to music, especially music, it was quite a worthwhile experience.

I'm aspiring to be a video game composer and had some experience working with a small but brilliant team and this game both gave me hope regarding my dreams to be a part of such a game and proved to me that one can create great and compelling experiences as long as there's heart put into it, no matter how small sized or limitedly crafted they can be.

I want to give a shoutout to everyone who worked on this game. You people are awesome! I wish to see more and bigger things from you in the future. Well done!

Lighthearted, funny and pretty attractive as a management game. Price is a bit too much maybe and has some flaws; but overall a fun experience.

A great and original real-time puzzle game with an evolving yet minimalistic theme. While being challenging, it manages not to be frustrating and actually stays challenging even while being player-friendly. It's a little short but the creativity spent on this gem is worth the small fee.

And the music is awesome! Tracks actually support and evolve with the puzzle progress and gives a unique sense of progression.

If you like these kind of games, this game is a definite buy!

Makes you learn, adjust and hate yourself for the 326th time you lost to that dragon or robot or mermaid boss; but in the end nothing gives you the purest ecstasy of showing who's the boss...eventually.
