it's...okay, i guess? my main issue is the hitreg not working properly when moving parts to their slots. i got it off a discount on an already very cheap game, so can't really complain about what i'm getting since it's already up to par with the expectations.

THAT's the "easy" mode? wow, they really cranked up the difficulty. i love it. now the officers are not just speedbumps but actual threats to you and your allies.

If you're not sure about the game, DO try the demo first as it gives a fair representation ofwhat you should expect in terms of basic gameplay, and it's also the Square-grade prologue so you don't have to do it again if you get the full game (progression carries over).

Do note that you need a decent rig to get 60 frames out of this, and that cutscenes are capped at 30 for whatever reason, which is jank as hell, and i'm not sure why Square decided that's a good thing, or why it hasn't been uncapped yet. I heard there's a mod to uncap the cutscene FPS btw. If you're familiar with the flavorful text and dialogue in FFXIV, this is a must-get; they let Koji-Fox cook so we eating fine today lads.

Recommended to be played with a controller since it's a hack and slash.

I like the game, but it seems that it has issues with the cutscenes going out of sync, especially on the beginning.

I still want Epic Mickey 3. We all do. But I guess we'd need EM2 Remaster first.

If you like Tank Mechanic Simulator, you'd like this too. Unlike World of Guns (the free gun simulator), this one isn't confusing, and its contents aren't paywalled. So far i'm having fun with the game.

considering the more recent quality control issues and port fails KT had done over the last 5 years, this is a surprisingly fresh take on quality. note that there's no borderless window option. innovatively, there's even an option to choose either bottom or right face button as the confirm button (NA games prefer bottom, JP games prefer right), which is highly unusual for a W-Force game (pretty sure this is the first game that has that option).

if this is an indicator of KT's current QA department, it makes one have high hopes for DW Origins, and the future of W-Force.

if for some reason you DIDN'T get the deluxe edition, get this as it gives you a lot of endgame-tier stuff

only get this if it's on a massive discount and if you just like Lego racing stuff. there are clearly other more worthy games to buy at this pricing.
