Funcom just sold out to Tencent, a company which collaborates with Communist tyrants aka the CCP. Tencent helps to push CCP censorship on China as well as the rest of the world. I really enjoyed Conan Exiles, but the future of this game is not looking bright. Alas dear Conan I knew thy well.

Well, I got this DLC tonight. To be able to experience the full story the game required me to start a new campagn. But the new campagn keeps causing the game to crash during the first cutscene. Before I got the DLC the game was working fine, but now it is broken. Thank you Firaxis for breaking XCOM 2...... Thumbs down.

Big tumbs up for this game. I got it yesterday and then played for 11 hours straight. Then I realized it was 6:30 am...... The game had me so immersed I just forgot the time. Some reviews liken this game to MOO 2. I second that. This game offers the same immersion but goes even deeper than M00 2, I genetically altered my human population on an ocean world and found out I had a new species afterward. Very cool.

I have had hundreds of hours of enjoyment from every Paradox game I own and this game does not disappoint! I bought this purely based on my experience with Paradox (and my love for 4x space games) and I am glad they still produce quality like they did when I first bought EU 2.

The only cons I have experienced that I was unable to rename my leaders (especially my sovereigns) or that I was unable to rename those genetically changed humans. But I am sure it will get added with patch/dlc/mod eventually.

So far I give this game a 10/10

Unfortunately the updates over the years have changed this once great game into a buggy mess that eventually crashes. As you play the game the game it just gets slower and slower and eventually it will crash or becomes unplayable. Paradox slapped too many updates on an engine that obviously wasn't designed for it. I give this game a 1/10 now.

This DLC really wasn't thought through well. If you play on an insane map the "Artefact" event will create an overpowered AI if it triggers early and the AI is not anywhere near you. This event ruined a otherwise good game I have been running for a few days. Stardock needs to fix this event, maybe have the other AI's go after it.

The concept is good, but the execution of it not so much. It doesn´t play as smooth as most other 4x4 out there. Two things in particular need fixing to make this game playable.

I. Turn resolution takes way too long, espcially on gigantic and collosal maps with all planes enabled. The main factor is the resolution of all those neutral cities. Even early on it already takes several minutes for the game to resolve the turns of all those neutral cities. Either speed it up or give players the option to disable neutral cities altogether.
II. Diplomacy. Even when the AI isn´t even close to you it just declares war after x turns of meeting you. There is no trigger, it just seems totally arbitary. Diplomacy needs to be fixed so that relations with AI are based on actual factors like closer borders etc.

If they can at least fix the turn resolution this might turn into a decent game. But so far it has been a waste of my money.
