Well to be perfectly honest, I always play a dodge build pretty much and never spend any points on Technician. I have been playing around with that gladiator build posted in the guide for giggles which is all melee and explosives (infiltrator perk deck). It works surprisingly well in Deathwish Loud providing you are primarily in corridors. I have successfully comleted 6 DW loud missions with it and it is pretty fun but a little gimmicky for sure. I still like inspire dodge the best ;)

Thanks for the tip Dracula, I think it was just to spend enough to unlock the next tier for my build since I haven't spent an infamous point on that yet. I will take another look to see if there is a better skill in that tree to spend the points on though.
