Honestly, restarting a run, which is an absolute core aspect of this rogue-like cardgame, is just too slow and repetitive for me.
I've only managed to clear a single game, as most of my runs got screwed over by antes that weren't as much challenging as they're unfun. Skill issue? Sure, that doesn't invalidate the negative experience I had though.

The feeling of unlocking the collection is the typical dopamine inducing niceness, but without any real solid permanent perks to work towards, such as making the start feel less random, for instance, I just don't get motivated enough to restart over and over again. More specifically I mean the very first game you have to play without any jokers at all.

An example of what I mean by 'permanent perk' would be something like the ability to pick a starting joker, or an extra slot to put in a joker you've unlocked, and cleared x amounts of game with - for instance.

I'm also not really a fan of the psychedelic vibe of the visuals and music. It feels a bit too trance inducing towards the gambling aspect.

This game makes no sense. No tutorial and I'm not understanding one bit how any mechanics work.

Coming from No Man's Sky this game feels super confusing and unpolished.
The tutorials weren't of much help and I had to force myself to keep playing after a very early point.

To me, I think this game seriously needs a better all-round tutorial that would hold my hand and step-by-step explain stuff.

What an amazing singleplayer experience.
It's been quite a while since I've had such a sense of thrill of adventure.
