Great time! Lots of fun playing hard mode, hard hits. Story is charming and it feels like you have a lot of memorable NPC's you interact with during the experience.

UPDATE: I've been playing this game for years at this point and I keep coming back. The gameplay depth here is honestly mind-boggling to me. I am still learning things about core system mechanics that I took for granted years ago. Cheers Klei, you've made something truly special here.

Good story. Your biggest resource is time and the game knows it. You will miss events you find interesting or compelling simply because you will run out of time.

Only gripe is that combat is... frustrating to say the least. For the times you're forced to, it is not pleasant. It did, however, make me feel triumphant when I managed to overcome it.

Only in Alpha but it's a full game already ;) definitely a fun and creative simulation.

This game can be considered niche but I consider that a strength. I'm over 100 hours in and don't really see an end in sight. You will get cold, you will starve, you will be stalked. Your greatest strength is your mind and how you tackle problems... 9/10

The previous story mode I would give a 3.5/10, but the new redux deserves a solid 6.5/10. Good and engaging, but not memorable. Many veterans of this game know most of your playtime will be spent in survival anyways.

This game is entertaining, but DVSB is incredibly frustrating. Uninstalled literally because of that. Having to deal with RNG over four opponents (with dodge builds) over and over again for a 50% chance to get an item that you need THREE of. This is ludicrous. It's like an insult to the player.
