A hard pass in its current state.
I used to like the Sims 4 as it was a good game to unwind after work, albeit expensive with the packs.
But ever since the base game went free, it became insufferable with the constant "battle pass" notifications the game won't shut up about. And worse, they can't be disabled.
I took 3 months off this game, hoping EA would find a solution with many players complaining. But no...there is even more of this event nonsense.

So EA respectfully, I don't want to be reminded all the time that I have ♥♥♥♥ to do or rewards I don't care expiring soon.
Just let me play the damn game I spent money on.
Will never buy any future Sims games if this is what to expect now.
