Memorable, emotional story.

Growing up on classics like Doom, Quake, Heretix, Hexen, and countless other similar titles, it was easy to fall in love with the retro-FPS wave that hit us in the past few years. Due to that I am always looking forward to the next one, hoping that it will rekindle the same memories and feelings the best do, and Graven is no exception. It is focused on exploration rather than combat, and it's maze-like levels actually require time to be fully discovered. I like the currently available repertoire of weapons - although the sword is very much OP - but what I absolutely adore is its world: Graven is much more focused on building its own universe rather than thinking only in levels, and the engine used is perfectly capable of that purpose, thanks to the colour palette, the character models, and the overall atmosphere. I can't wait for further content to be released!
