The nostalgia is strong with this one. Such an amazing platform for making game modes. Trench Wars for life! Thank you to all who have kept this game alive!

Happy to report that while the content may not be complete, the mechanics feel polished and the game is very playable. Great to see that a title that may give off early access vibes is actually functional. I look forward to seeing the content expand.

I have played Rust on an off for a few years. I've watched it grow into what it is today (10/2018). There is always something to balance for someone, but I genuinely think the game has hit a great place in terms of progression and content. I recommend this game to friends now more than ever. I would recommend it in the past as well, but with the caveat that it wasn't terribly fun alone, but more a battle of patience. Now I think, even for a solo player, it is fun with the right perspective: play safe. It takes practice to be good at this game; there are lots of trade-offs that one must make constantly. The best advice I could give to anyone wanting to start playing is to be calm and don't press your luck! Part of being "good" in Rust is to know your odds, and play to them. Surviving moment to moment _is_ the game. Also, don't be too afraid to talk to someone; not everyone is a turd.
