Complete game, no micro-transactions, very few bugs, good voice acting, decent story, genital customization, and the ability to Eldritch blast people off cliffs.

I don't normally buy games over $30 outside of sales, but this one is well worth it. Now I go back to stealing everything that isn't bolted down, and even then the bolts aren't often resistant to force damage.

have over 900 hours logged outside of steam.
I can honestly say this is one of the most beautifully chaotic games ive ever played and I love it to death.
this is the only FPS game that ive played where 200 people can shoot at each other within 1 sq km. Combined arms between fighters, bombers, transport aircraft, main battle tanks, light tanks, APC's, dune buggies, and atvs on a +-12 SQ Km map (4 different maps that rotate, 12 sq km each) you can build bases, you can drive tanks, you can fly, you can infantry. this game is truely unique. not a thing like it anywhere else.

boot up game for the first time: struggle with food, get raided and loose half of your stuff cause you have no idea whats going on. survive until winter, starve.

boot up after you know how to play: build fortress, adopt a character to be "you" and give them the biggest room, survive winter, become rich, die to a bunch of insect bois spawning in the storage room of the mountain you live in, perish.

boot up 3 months later: game is modded until instability, roombas carry and clean everything around you, OIL, building nuclear power, relive the chernobyl experience, get raided by alien battlebots, end up being fine due to the elaborate antimatter minefield you may or may not have cheated in. watch the world burn from your concrete and adamantium fortress as you try to figure out how much corn you can grow before the game lags itself into a power point presentation.

all jokes aside, this game is a blast to play, price may seem a bit high but if you find it on sale its fantastic, there are also mods that allow you to play with friends. and, of course, when everything else gets boring, you can always cheat in a 20 man colony and crusade around the map.

1- you can build stuff.
2- you can improve your built stuff.
3- you can painstakingly design a ship from any sci-fi, comic, movie, book(etc) universe.
4- you can show it to your friends who will be impressed.
5- you can build this ship of yours in a survival server after spending several hours struggling to attain the resources needed.
6- you can forget to turn the dampeners back on after a long flight and run into your dock at near full speed.
7- you you can build a new ship bigger and better than the last because you learned. (hopefully)
8- Ram 2 different huge ships together and watch the simulation speed tank as your graphics card struggles.
9- Once you think you know how to build a decent warship in a survival server you have the option of joining a server with mods so you get to relive the days where you had no clue what that block does but it looks cool so ill slap one on the side anyways.
10- Spend 35 minutes staring into space trying to figure out how your going to start your new ship build, before inevitably deciding to just run about terrorizing your friends.

this game is primarily for people who love to be creative. if you enjoy space games where the ships are what you make them and the combat doesn't suck. this is your game.

PROS:
-Script Support.
-Huge modding community.
-Huge range of ways you can build.
-Fun physics moments like launching mechanical parts at your friends using the power of god himself.
-Low building skill floor with a skill ceiling as high as you want it.
-Chase your friends around with an angle grinder.

CONS:
-Recent updates have been primarily cosmetic DLC with little gameplay change. although DLC has been fairly high quality for a low price. (not really a CON i guess, just a note on the current Development Status)
-Lag spikes and low FPS during combat with larger ships or multiple ships at once.
-Game doesn't want to let me duct tape hundreds of custom turrets with custom turret controllers to my ship and have them actually work. (this might be a me problem for wanting to use that many)
-Certain blocks have wonky hitboxes.
-Sometimes the wrath of Zeus, Klang and whoever else is feeling bored at the moment will make your ships spontaneously combust if you use moving parts incorrectly.(can also be considered a pro. its amusing at times)

If you like a game where you live or die based on if you slide or not THIS IS THE GAME FOR YOU!!!
In a Nutshell:

-Gettting lit up by a Light machine gun? SLIDE! problem solved.

-Snipers will kill you, yes from 5m even.

-No that guy isnt going to resupply you, he's dumb, use your knife.

-in PVE the spec ops guys will beat your @$$ like your a white kid in downtown Detroit.

-Knife the turrets at your own risk, the medic isnt going to save you once you get blasted though, he's got his own insurance policy to be worried about.

-Yeah that one guy is probably boting you, hide in your corner and cry, just make sure you've got a wall in front of you or he'll still hit you.

-Yes it takes an age to get decent gear, better grab some more G-Fuel.

-Yes the PVP maps are tiny, hope you like shotguns...

Overall this game is decent. ive had my progress reset due to some error that happend with the My.com switch which ended up with me loosing my old account. so that was annoying, but i decided to start again. if you like memeing on people with pistols then getting immediately @$$blasted by a sniper, this game is for you.

(also, that one Rifleman that wont resupply the sniper after he's used his 40 rounds, yeah, yeah you over there, we all hate you. -Everyone Who plays sniper.)

Joins Game. instantly confronted by endless anime girls being chased by somthing that looks like a no-coppyright edition of shrek is passed by 3 ugandian knuckles descussing plans in a sort of morse code, spongebob (need i say more). some kid in a robot suit yelling at his parents over an open mic, sombody else wondering who stole their poptart, trashcan with wheels (R2-D2 after 4 kids and a morgage) playing toto "Africa" while 2 or 3 fat mice run around.... 15/6 cant count while 11/8 would recomend... #truequalitygameplay

ive played countless hours and keep comming back when there is little to do and time to kill. the game is literally only limited to your imagination and how far you can make the cannons shoot (nobounds mod fixes this nicely). the game is constantly being improved and added on by the devs and they really care about where the game goes.

PROS:

besige is a building game (duh), but what sets it apart is both damage physics, programable blocks such as wheels, cannons, flamethrowers, pistons ect... and a community that probably spends more time in the game than is mentally healthy (me included). there is just a certan fun/need/idontreallyknowwhattocallit in building a gernade launcher and killing small armies, destroying castles, and seeing exactly how much death and destruction you can pack inside a wooden seige machine. in adition to the fact that if you slow down the game you can run it on even the oldest potato pc made after about 2005. the game has good graphics for a building game (if your thinking minecraft, you honestly need help)

CONS:

only about 30 ish levels, will take you about 3ish hours to complete all of them. (and thats with the skills of somone who only knows how to build a half *** jenga tower)
...thats really the only con to be honest.

well designed game that will keep you comming back for more and more destructive fun.
9.5/10 knights would get blown up again.

(review for lazy people. its fun. you kill people. you get killed. you go ingame broke. you get killed. you figure out this isnt star trek. 19/14 cant cant count. 11/8 would recomend.)

What happens in the game:
you start.
your broke.
you buy a ship.
you get broke... er.
you get shot by space pirates.
you try hauling cargo.
you sell your cargo.
you take a rush delivery.
you miss the deadline.
you sell your ship and buy a new ship.
you get really broke. you shoot pirates.
the pirates shoot back.
you may or may not kill the pirates and tray and steal their ship.
you pirate the pirates.
you hold on to your new ship as an escort.
your escort gets blown up by a battleship and so do you.
you respawn and sell the escort.
congradulations... you have a little bit of money now.
you play for hours and manage to become rich and dont know what to do anymore.
you go into game files.
you edit ships.
they dont work.
you try again and get blown up by some really op ship of your own creation because you didnt change the numbers back.
you change the numbers back.
you fly the deathstar and kill everybody.
you buy 11 deathstars and kill even more everybodys.
you check the clock.
its 8am.
you read your steam history.
you spent 75 hours of your life blowing people to shreds and getting blown to shreds.
you go to sleep satisfied.
you wonder what would have happend if you didnt play this game.

dont wonder what would have happend if you didnt play this game. get Endless Sky. Its probably worth it.
