Not gonna beat around the bush, we all know what this is about. #FixTF2 something something ♥♥♥♥ the bots. Continue reading for ramble.

TF2 has a very special place in my heart, it is my childhood, to this day among my favorite games both from sheer enjoyment value and from a design perspective. Yet despite how much love both valve and the community have put into this piece of gaming history, it is being left to rot. Valve won't do anything to fix it, and we can't do anything to fix it alone.

Normally I would not endorse these kinds of mass movements and even less so I want to throw shade at my favorite game, but enough is enough. We loved valve for their commitment to gamers, now we need to pull their head out of their cash filled ass to even acknowledge basic ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ issues such as one of their games being unplayable or people using it as a platform to commit literal ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ crimes. And if getting loud and hurting their public rep is what we gotta do, then we ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ will. #FixTF2

I'm not a guy who usually posts video game reviews, but for this little gem I just felt the need to do so.

Are you a fan of twitchy shooters, bullet hell games and over the top adrenaline inducing action games?
I know I am. And I am currently experiencing a bizarre mix of bliss and disappointment.

Lets preface this might as well be more of a tech demo than an actual game. It isn't the easiest game in the world, but with a reasonable degree of competence it can be beaten in an hour on average. It is free, of course, so that is more than understandable.
When I first looked at it, It sort of screamed third-grade indie game on the cover, and it sure presented some of the traits you'd expect from one (I had resolution issues resulting in some UI elements being partly hidden, absolutelly 0 graphic settings, localization is amateurish at best).

What I absolutelly did not expect however is the sheer amount of satisfaction I gathered from playing time-sniper-god. The controls are snappy and pristine, while things can get very chaotic (and deadly), the time-slow mechanics combined with your other crazy abilities give you plenty of leeway to cheat your way out of most ridiculous situations. Paper HP and Slow-motion on demand, a gun that packs enough punch to oneshot every enemy if you know where and how to aim, and a ton of enemies to shred through really sold the one-waifu army theme for me. All this does not even gloss over the boss, which is fairly well designed to test all of your abilities.

Needless to say, the disappointment comes from how much I wish there simply was more of it. And I very much want the devs to know that they really really should deliver more of it. I applaud whatever weird mojo they practice and would gladly throw bucks at a full-fledged game should they decide to produce one in the future.

All in all I'd suggest anyone who's into this kind of game to give it a shot, throw your bucks at the devs if they ever release more, and to agree with me on the note that Maya's pretty hot.
