Good introduction of new mechanics, played with Controller, fun.

If you ever wanted to play HOI4 seriously historic, without the need to "alternate history"-Research, pick Focuses, manage "alternate historical"-production. Then this game is for you!
You can concentrate on Strategy, Tactics, Air War, Supplies and weather actually matters! Additionally there is a historical correct Order of Battle with Support Units (StuG, Flammpanzer, Engineers etc.) and the distance to the commanding HQ matters!


Also included is some kind of "buffs/debuffs"-system to represent the state of both armies:
- in 1941 (Soviets = disorganized; Axis = badly prepared supply assets/system)
- in 1942 (late) shift in initiative


The negative part are the missing tooltipps/ingame information about several UI elements. If you want to know what a number actually means, there is zero information in game. That's why there is the 500+ pages Game Manual, which at least exists, but finding information about a specific topic is often a struggle. It leads you from one chapter to two others and so on. And after reading 15 pages in 4 different chapters u still haven't found what you are looking for.
