It seems like Capcom decided to lead resident evil 7 to its original route as a classical horror game like outlast. They have completely abandoned the action zombie blockbuster route that we used to play in resident evil 5, 6 and others. They were great for their own rights. It looks badass to shoot RPG at a gigantic zombified monster, to use some karate moves on zombies. At first, I was confused "Why would they go back to the route that we knew in the first resident evil", I was worried that this might be Resident evil series's downfall because it has been a long time since they made a horror resident evil game and hope that this old formula could revive its own reputation.

But now it's here, it is revolutionary??

The story set you in the foot of a guy whose wife was dead, and now you have to find her in this haunted house or place. Where have I heard that before??.... Oh yeah, Silent ♥♥♥♥♥ Hill 2. But for real, the story was actually pretty good for the first two-third of game. The story initial promise was messier and pretty wrote off from some random horror movie ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. However, there are lots of impact moments that builds up the horror atmosphere really kickstart my enthusiasm.

Many horror games give the players 2 option is to hide and run. Most of them though, do offer the option to fight. But often, the option to fight became obsolete. Making the game easier and no longer scary. Resident evil 7, on the other hand, really know how to correctly place ammo and guns for players, sometimes forcing them to follow the stealth route to escape, limiting the option to fight, which is amazing. For me, fighting bare hands in re7 is something you don't want to do. It's scary to run away from enemies without knowing if they gonna get you or not, hiding from them while don't know where they are. It's great to finally have the old formula back, Capcom. I do suggest you play this on the hardest difficulty, where you have to go in and out in stealth.

The graphics are amazing, Capcom once again raised the bar. This game looks amazing. They have improve upon the gameplay and the graphics. The sound and music design were incredible, they amazingly built up this vibe to fill the players with goosebump while the game is setting its own atmosphere.

For me, having remembered the old formula that we used to have in the old resident evil games was amazing. I have been only watching it on Youtube played by Pewdiepie for 5 mins and already, I have to change my pants.

I will give this game a 4/5. I love it for experiencing the resident evil that we used to know. Recommend anyone would buy this

Honestly, after beating the game for 7 hours to have the "happy ending", I cried 3 times because the story is just amazing. It is stunning and incredible. I've never expected to end this way. It started off with some stupid and dumb puzzles. But after that, it drove the player deeper and deeper as the story takes its place and time and affected the players an unprecedented way. That is the factor that makes Undertale a masterpiece. I played a lot of RPGs and this one really makes me turn around and give me an unique story with beautiful gameplay.

*THE SYSTEM OF UNDERTALE
Now, when I first saw Flowey ( dat ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ) almost killed me, all I think is that this game is stupid because all I have to do is move my heart ( i mean my soul ) around like a little ♥♥♥♥♥. However, after sinking my teeth into the game, I realized it's a lot more and its brilliance lies on its simplicity. Undertale expected me to have played RPGs before and played with those conventions in unexpected ways and that clever manipulation of gameplay mechanics adds weight to a story that couldn’t have been told in any other way or medium. That's what I need from RPG games. Make something new! At first, I thought I got that dodging combat mechanics, but after a while, the gameplay started pushing me and players to a limit with these storytelling from characters to characters as the story builds up. Every monsters in the game has its own unique way to deal with, you can fight them or spare them if you want the true pacifist ending, of course. For me, I wanted the true pacifist ending so therefore, I have to flirt, hug, and pet in order not to kill them so that I can spare them. That's it a cool idea. Not only that, the way that I interact with them feels like we were treating each other from I to I. There are tons of jokes relating to anime and even snail jokes that really know how to set up a crowd. Undertale really knows how to predict the players and that's it a factor that I like about Undertale.

* THE WAY MONSTERS WORK
The way Undertale builds up the story is hilarious and touching. A lot of hidden messages are putted through out the game. Each of them knows how tell a story about humanity and morality. For example, when I was listening to echo flowers in a hallway that recorded a conversation between two people, I was impressed by it. It was about a monster whose greatest wish was to escape this underground lair to see the view, don't want to share it because she(he) afraid that her( his ) friend might laugh at her ( him ). However, after telling the truth, the friend laughed anyway and it was funny until it said: " Sorry, it’s just funny… That’s my wish too. ". And from that I was silenced for how honestly these characters were written. Witnessing the depth of monsters's dreams about freedom really a strength of Undertale. Giving the players the exploration of humanity and morality. Talking to them and discovering about them is amazing. I was amazed for how well-developed these characters were written. It just makes me cry because I have to fight them which I don't.

*THE MOST AND OBVIOUS REASON WHY UNDERTALE IS A MASTERPIECE: DETERMINATIONNNNNNNNNNNNNN
Of course, games like super meat boy, hotlline miami, dark souls really make us have to say " wtf ???" and rage quit. Not only that, but they also do something that makes you angrier is showing a text that say " YOU DIED" which is pretty annoying, right ??? Now, as for Undertale, "Stay determined" will be the phrase that I will remember for the rest of my life. In Undertale, there are lots of times that I keep dying over and over. Not only that, you can't sell things ( maybe that is the first time we seen in RPG gam, right??? Or maybe dark souls, perhaps ???? ) to the merchants. However, after putting up with it, I have experieced a meaningful story, so many things that I want to explore in Undertale and I don't want to give up. WHY?? DETERMINATION !! I was really entranced by the way characters worked. Some people said this game looks like sh*t. For me, even though the art not that impressive, it is still an amazing game.

* VERDICT
I really don't know how to describe this game. I really am. But I can only call it by one word only " MASTERPIECE ". It really has its own dynamic way to tell a story with great comprehension about RPG players's mindset. I gotta admit that this game will be the game that I will never forget. And because of this game, I AM NOW FILLED WITH DETERMINATION !!

When I was at PAX 2016, Owlboy is the only game that really stood out for me. Now, I don't normally play 2D or pixel games although I think I played some of them like undertale. Undertale is a amazing game, and so as Owlboy. I have to talk to the developers and play their game at PAX. It was a great experience and I hope that Owlboy will come out soon. So here we are, Owlboy is out and it is fantastic. The gameplay is great and diverse. Even though the main character can't attack, he can pick up his partners and use him to kill enemies. There are a lot of different kind of enemies so you have to figure out ways to kill them differently. But sometime Owlboy can counter attack which is awesome. The flying mechanics is pretty good. The graphic is stunning, people. For a pixel game, I am amazingly impressed by these crispy, beautiful details. It looks amazing. The music is lovely. I really like the soundtrack. Still, you can buy them for $10. For me, that is expensive. The story is another factor that amazed me. It is simple but genius. It is about a owlboy with his friends trying to save the world by stopping pirates and find relics. There are dramas, emotions, and plot twists. It is so good and so much fun. I really recommend everyone to buy this game. It just amazing. I will give it a 9/10
