It's made with good writing, apparently.

There was a day when you would recommend Resident Evil games to friends, but only with certain caveats. This was also true, even with the best games in the series, including the 2005 version of Resident Evil 4.

We are no longer in that day.

It's probably the best game that I dislike.

game is good

Many years after Silent Hill died (with SH4), one man disregarded its death and wrote a little masterpiece called Shattered Memories. This is that man's 3rd game after that, and he will always have my support. Her Story was excellent and although Telling Lies was a bit underwhelming, it was still really good. I have no doubt in my mind that this is a fantastic game, even before I get a chance to play it this weekend.

PS: Played it, and I was right.

On principle

The performance isn't perfect, but I seem to have dodged the worst of it. It runs fine most of the time, Haven't had a single frame drop during boss fights, only while exploring - which is reassuring.

The game - it is absolutely brilliant. Everything I have ever wanted, and quite possibly more. I'm still exploring the beginning areas and this game seems gigantic by comparison to previous FromSoft games.

That being said, it sucks that people are having issues with performance. Such a shame.

PS: Finished it. Probably one of my favorite games of all time. I especially didn't expect to love the lore and the music this much.

Okay (at best) time waster while at the Elden Ring waiting club. Not going to last the year.

Also, just remove the story entirely. Why, even?
