The ending ruined it for me. Cool atmosphere, intriguing world that had me theory crafting in my head, I felt disgusted almost the entire time (as you should with this genre), but the ending feels so unresolved. If you can ignore the ending, I would recommend the game.

It was fun leading up to the last "level". You have to really manage your ammo and health. The combat almost always results in you getting hurt. But, I only ended up dying from combat once or twice in the whole game. Made me feel stress, which fits the atmosphere well. But, in the last level all the upgrades you unlock throughout the game get taken away from you, and you're rushed to finish the game after that. Which is lame because the ending sucks.

Also, it gets grossly sexual at the end (I mean who wants to see disfigured monster type people doing sexual stuff). Seems unnecessary, even though it does fit the world. Just my personal opinion.

Ending spoilers:
You die near the beginning of the game, and you continue playing as another character. In the end of the game you also die, but in a really dumb way that doesn't explain anything, and the game just ends. There were so many unanswered questions that could have been answered in another characters life if the game kept going. Or, if they wanted a "you lose" ending they could have had a cool cut-scene where the whole world crumbles or something.

Plus, there are enemies in the game that seem to be against the whole "society" you're a part of. That society appears to be deteriorating because of them. Then, before that last level I mentioned earlier, you defeat the main enemy (in an unsatisfying way), and it's as if the game forgets they ever happened after that. No explanation of if they actually are defeated, or if the society end up crumbling after all. Nothing.

Early Access Review
This game has great potential, and a very active dev. The amount of scale you feel when standing on the highest mountain hundreds(?) of blocks tall is insane. Totally worth a try.

Do not, I repeat, DO NOT buy this game. If you think it looks like a really cool concept that's great, go on over to the Roguelands steam page and buy that game instead. It costs the exact same as this one and is far more developed. This game, on the otherhand, has been completely abandoned (so they could work on Roguelands might I add) and, although I don't respect the company for doing so, Roguelands is definatly fun and I would recommend it. If you do buy Roguelands though, make sure you have some friends to play with since, although not absolutely necessary, it makes the experience a lot more enjoyable.

EDIT: The company who made this game may or may have not broken Magicite intentionally to force people to buy Roguelands (maybe, not really sure). If you don't want to have a game that might become abandoned and broken do not buy Roguelands either. If you think you and your friends will play the ♥♥♥♥ out of it before that happens, then by all means. I hope this game company doesn't do the same thing they did to this game to Roguelands.

Also, if you hate supporting ♥♥♥♥♥♥ companies don't buy either games because abandoning a game and still selling it at full price (equal to the new better project) is extremely scummy and bad business practice.

CS:GO Review
This game is one of the "Must Haves" on steam next to Gmod (not that I play much of Gmod anymore). This game will truly test your skills to the limit with highly competitive gameplay. You are not restricted to stressful gameplay, however, due to the casual mode where everyone just screws around. This can be fun to play to wind down or simply reck nubes.

The shooting system in this game is very methodical and masterable, you won't be seeing too much randomness in the system. It is also the cleanest and least clunky shooting systems I have ever seen. It may not be the most realistic system - due to the lack of using the sights and the 100% accuracy when firing at the hips with an ak - but it is definatly the most enjoyable.

If you like shooters and are looking for a highly competitive environment, or want a place where you can improve and test your skills, then this game is definatly a must have.
