The first time we ever saw the Turks it was the mysterious "Sea People's" who wiped out civilisations such as the decadent Babylon (the target of the Mystical Turk holy war).
Then they came out of nowhere and decimated the Byzantines, who were deserving of extermination because of them taking the mantle of the Romans.
The Turks of today (in Turkey) aren't Turks they're Arabs claiming to being these mystical beings.
