So, this call of duty just isn't fun.

Zombies feels like they're trying to create something that resembles the original Black Ops style of smaller, more contained maps. The issue is its soulless with far too much color, no good thematic elements, and just boring gameplay mechanics. There's no reinforcing doors, there's no interesting characters. I honestly feel more annoyed than enthused when my character makes a remark at what's currently happening in game. It feels like the days of gritty zombies and our old beloved quips are dead. I'd even take the big open world blackops maps we used to have over this. You also have only two options of maps, both of which are dull and easily get repetitive.

Multiplayer:

Every map feels like a tight, close quarters killbox meant to maximize enemy engagement and kills. It takes away player agency by making the map so congested you can't really be strategic or do anything besides turn and immediately see an enemy in front of you

As much as I want a pure call of duty game or something like it, between the constant poor designs and greed I think this franchise is officially dead to me

I love this game, but I would say the friendly AI could use some work or maybe like "AI passive damage resistance". My issue most playthroughs is my AI tries to catch up to me by running through like 50 enemy NPC's who hail bullets at the AI teamate who is ineffective and protecting themselves and thus gets downed/killed constantly

Besides that, game is fun

game is pretty fun, call of duty but these crashes are insane. I can get maybe an hour of gameplay before a crash. Also frustrating to have it crash during a campaign because i need to launch it, then let it reset itself after so I can continue playing the campagin

I will start by saying this game is actually really, really good but I think the price tag of the full $60 is a bit excessive. If you were asking me if you should get it, I would say 100% yes. I'd just be afraid of whether or not the amount of actual content in the game justifies the price tag. The quality is certainly there, the quality might be lacking. Buy this on sale.

Personally this was the original Life is Strange experience for me. It's a very emotional game that has lovable characters who are all highly empathetic. It was an absolute blast for me to be a part of their world through the lens of the game. I've honestly had a number of moments where this game even made me cry.

Now the honestly weak parts of this game have to do with the genuine story. All the side content is beautiful, crafted with love and care. The main story feels exceptionally rushed, hollow, and like an afterthought. I don't think that's terrible, I personally wouldn't complain too much about that (after all I'm giving it a positive review) because the side content was just that enjoyable. It's just a shame that the main story didn't get the same amount of love the rest of the game got.

The graphics were amazing, the power concept felt well executed especially considering how iconic Max's time travel was for me from the first game, the twists and cliff hangers were engaging (up until midway of chapter 4). I really think the only things holding it back are the story length, how rushed the ending was, and the Typhon mining company plot portion. Slight spoilers: Midway through chapter 4 the game begins to buckle, but chapter 5 is very strong. It's just that the conclusion to the main conflict is exceptionally weak, although the conclusion to the subconflict is very good.

TLDR: This game is a parody of anime dating simulator type games, which it executes perfectly. My playtime is basically the full length of the game, but there's plenty of replay value and I mean this is definitely a game that would be great to force your friends to play. You should definitely get it if it seems interesting to you at all.

My Background: I played this game in the Dread X 2 Collection where the first date was available as a stand alone indie inclusion where I loved it. Honestly this was the best part of the Dread X 2 Collection so I immediately jumped when I found out that the full game had basically been released.

Synopsis: This game features our main character who is obsessed with real life eldritch horrors coming across a book that lets him summon one. From there he attempts to woo it/her into kissing him which leads into a lot of "wacky mishaps". This game is basically a parody of other dating simulators and visual novel type games in the same sphere. One novel thing to note is the different chapters all focus on different mechanics which provide their own set of interesting ways to interact with the game itself.

Story: It's the best part of the game. It's a parody so the story is just one long joke that hits every mark. There's also plenty of interesting twists and turns that keep players hooked.

Gameplay: The idea of the gameplay is really interesting and something I enjoy. I do have to say that when you play it for a while, having to move your mouse across the screen SLOWLY to chant an encantation does get annoying after a while especially in chapter 2. Besides that though I think the gameplay is novel, interesting, and fits with the actual game

Music and Visuals: This game is basically a bootleg of anime by design, everything fits and works. Can't complain

This game is designed with lots of in client downloads and queue times which will bloat your gameplay by about 3 hours if you want to just try out the game (which itself isn't fun itself). This won't let you refund the game if you don't end up liking it. Make your choice if you want to actually play this game or not, and this game is just a time hole that I don't recommend falling down.

I really want to recommend this game to other people because it's fantastic, but there's a certain point in a level on part 3 where your valkyrie lands. After your valkyrie crash lands, you will fumble to the ground, but the moment your character becomes playable the game crashes as a whole which completely ruins the game for me.

Early Access Review
The game is fun on its own, but it's the community that makes it really fun.

I spawned in and was immeditely yelled at by my commanding officer to get into a single file line behind the flag bearer. About ten other men are already lined up. Take my position and soon enough we begin our march towrads the enemy.

"Don't break position! Walk!" I hear from my CO over cannon and gunfire.

"Are we all ok with this?" One of our guys asks before being filled with the enemy's lead.

One by one we get picked off until it's finally my turn to get slaughtered. Respawn and return to my previous position to start it all over again.

I really wanted to like this game and there are a lot of elements from the game I do like. It just falls short in so many aspects that I constatnly have to put it down to the point where I've now given up on this title.

I'll start by mentioning the story. On the surface it seems sort of interesting, sort of like what Fallout New Vegas was trying to do with their story. The issue with Fallout 4 however is with how bluntly they try to execute this all. Dialoge is straight forward, most characters have a single or very few purposes that they clearly execute, and everything is practically spoon fed to you. Now I don't think a game should be overly complex to be enjoyable, but Fallout 4 simply insults your intellegence by putting the story on tracks so it doesn't get derailed going as far as to even making a good chunk of the characters you meet unkillable or "essential",

The story doesn't reward you, the most you'll get out of it is a few lines of dialog and the success sound effect. If anything it'll go as far as punish you for completing certain quests. For example, the best ending to Fallout 4 will require you to have limited contact with all the other factions. On the contrary, Fallout New Vegas and Fallout 3 implored you to meet every last character in the story. The two previous games would go as far as mention the ill fates that awaited all the characters you ignored if you chose to ignore them.

The game is just so linear it's painful. The most a speech check may do for you is get you to avoid a fight, but it would still give you the same (if not marginally better) reward regardless of your options and it would still give you the same quest progression. Fallout 4 only has a few pivitol moments where your choises actually matter or a few neat moments where things are tailored around the character you create. Not very much changes from playthrough to playthrough though.

The areas and locations will usually have some fairly cool story to them. I feel like all the optional story is even more interesting than the actual main story you're meant to follow. Unfortunately there's only so much exploring and piecing together you can do before you realize how two dimensional the game is and shut it down. I'd recommend watching some of Oxhorn's videos instead of going through the trouble of trying to get all the side stories instead.

I feel like there's a big problem with Immersion in Fallout 4. The biggest issue I take with this game is the countless endless quests you are given by characters, whether it's for the Minute Men with Preston Garvy, your settlements with your settlers, the gangs of Nuka World, Ryse and the Brotherhood of Steel, I could go on all day naming each and every one of these infinite quests. IT puts you off when you hear the same dialog over and over again from the same characters sending you on the same missions only in different places.

There's also a problem with balance. Unless you're playing survival mode, you may as well pick nearly everything up since every item is useful and with the weight you get you shouldn't have very many issues with being over the limit. Single shot weapons tree is the only way to go since it affects shotguns, snipers, and rifles. A good number of perks are actually detrimental to your playthrough should you use them or they have negligble effects like being able to breath underwater or in the case of negative perks canibalism.

Weapon modding is unbelievably boring. It's so painful that the weapon modifications are tiered with mods getting better and better as you go up. Of course there's only four tiers of weapon mods, so this whole "climbing the ladder" mentality for modifications that Tom Clancy's The Division went for doesn't work in this game. With limited mods, you'd think that they'd force you to make some hard decisions on what benefits you want to give your gun but the most you'd ever have to consider is what sort of sight you want or if you want a compensator or a supressor (which is a pretty simple choice to make when you take the sneak crits into consideration).
