I have 15,000+ games in my collection (everything from original Atari cartridges, Nintendo, Sega, Apple, wargames, DOS games, etc etc etc). But, unlike most retro gamers out there in the world, I like playing old games because I actually find them fun & challenging - not because I think they are "better" somehow (I play tons of modern games just as much).

Also, I don't just collect games merely for the sake of collecting them: I actually play them.

I run a popular blog at: retrogamesappreciation.wordpress.com

Artic Circle is just an RTS with a naval motif. Despite what it tries to look like (Harpoon or Fleet Command) It has no actual high-end realism to it, and for the STEEP hardware requirements I expected a LOT more from the graphics than what it delivered. I'd give it about 3 out of 5 stars for the $20 price tag that it has... but, me? I'd personally spend less money and get Legend of Grimrock instead - massive and VERY old-school dungeon crawling that is just flat-out awesome.
