I have played a decent amount of H1Z1 KOTK and I have got a decent amount of time in PUBG too and both games are enjoyable to me so I decided to write a review.

DISCLAIMER: Yes, of course I know this is an early access game. Not every player gets the bugs as some others do. This review is based on my personal experiance through the game so far.

Pros:

• The Game developer's appear to be active with the community and are putting out consistent updates monthly.
• PLAYERUNKOWN himself (Who created the Battle Royale game-mode found on Arma 3 & H1Z1 KOTK) is constantly working on the game.
• Getting into a gun fight can be very fun and intense, there is always a way to outsmart/duke the enemy.
• The different balance of loot is fair, aswell as loot drops are decent since you mostly guaranteed a rare weapon.
• Driving in this game is fun and hilarious.
• Skill is needed to be somewhat decent at this game.
• The Game has recently been optimised to a very good extent.

Cons:

• Very random frame rate drops through different times of the game.
• Once landed, there seems to be somewhat of lag when trying to pick up a weapon. (Which can very quickly get you killed.)
• Metal bars on windows or railings will sometimes block the bullets and can be very fustraiting when there is a very easy shot.
• Most of the time when you're in the bombing zone/ the red zone, the audio can be very glitchy and hard to hear teammates.
• When trying to outrun the outside zone, you either will meet another team whilst trying to escape the outside zone. Or will be very scarce on meds and will die almost at the entrance to the safe zone.
• In close combat when it comes to certain guns for example a shotgun, it can be fustrating because it will sometimes miss when you're clearly aiming at the person's head.

Conclusion:

This game is not at all close to H1Z1 KOTK, it requires much more skill and you don't get killed for stupid reasons. I enjoy this game very much. It has very intense moments but also alot of hilarious ones. Playing a squads or duos can be much more fun than playing solo's but less intense. There will always be a comedic value of playing with friends. Winning can be very satisfying if you have got more than 4 kills and deserving the win.

I recommend buying this game since it is developing into something great and will stand at one of the greatest Battle Royal games to be made.
