I've been waiting for a game like this since I read my first Harry Potter book in 2001. I'm only just scratching the surface of what seems to be a very expansive game, but so far everything has been wonderful. It looks fantastic on both my Steam Deck and my desktop PC. The voice acting and overall sound design are excellent. And the gameplay seems to have translated the often-weird Harry Potter magic system into a usable video game form as well as anyone could have hoped.

I'm looking forward to continuing to play this for many hours to come. I expect that it will be one of those games that stays installed for a long, long time.

Fortress.

Well worth the price of admission. I'll definitely be going back through this developer's catalog to see what other experiences they offer.

You don't need to have lived through the N64 era to appreciate how genuinely wonderful Yooka Laylee is.

It's been a rough decade for fans of 3D platformers. Things have been looking up over the past year or two, but it's still slim pickings, particularly for PC gamers.

Luckily, we've got games like this.

The Legend of Kay is not the best game ever made. Its design is a relic of a by-gone era, and it's absolutely filled to the brink with cheesy cliches. But what it lacks in modern gaming conventions, it 100% makes up for in heart. Whoever made this game loved it completely, and it shows. The Legend of Kay wears its big heart on its sleeve, for the whole world to see.

There's flaws that need to be overlooked, but for those willing to take the journey--particularly those partial to the genre--you'll be rewarded with a fine adventure, through and through.

It's extremely enjoyable. It's different than Civ V, and I'm sure that will rub some people the wrong way, but it stands on its own as a very well-made product. There are still some glaring omissions, like the ability to play as teams, but given how well supported Civ V was, I don't have a reason to doubt that bugs will be squashed and kinks smoothed out.

I'll happily be pouring hundreds of hours into this over the next couple years. They could have charged me twice as much and it'll probably still be a bargain when all is said and done.

Pretty enjoyable little game. It isn't a triple-A MMORPG, but it also isn't pretending to be. It's a fun little time-waster. Something you shouldn't take too seriously. For the most part, RMT seems to be mostly based around convenience rather than necessecity, so I'd say paying is largely optional unless you absolutely must complete everything as fast as humanly possible.

I'm just speculating here, but I'd wager the majority of the people who have rated this game negatively were expecting something completely different. This game isn't bad by any stretch of the imagination.

There's a lot of comparison between this game and Minecraft, and rightfully so. For an adult, this game is unlikely to unseat Minecraft as the king of block building games. Even with a LEGO pedigree, there's simply been too much development over the years that has made Minecraft into a remarkably flexible and powerful experience.

But were I a child, LEGO Worlds is exactly the sort of game that I would want to play. It's colorful, fun, and extremely easy to jump into. My five year old son is developmentally disabled and has had zero issues navigating the game entirely on his own. He's a Minecraft fan to begin with, but LEGO Worlds has absolutely converted him. Seeing the look on his face when he plays the game has been worth the price of admission a dozen times over.

NOTE: From a techncial standpoint, LEGO Worlds still has some issues. With an Intel i7-4790k and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 780 Ti, I'm still looking at roughly 30 FPS on max settings. It's still Early Access, so I'm willing to forgive that it's unoptomized at this point, but it is something to keep in mind for people with less powerful hardware. I have not experienced any crashing, however, so not all is negative on the technical front.
