Controlling the lives of computer characters? Sign me up. Like so many of my favorites: Dwarf Fortress, Rimworld, and the like; this fills the need to stay up far to late and play far to much.

I have played every Creeper World since the first one. Each time it gets better and the opportunity for difficulty greater. I am not extremely fast to complete but I find a slow methodical win very satisfying and relaxing (even though it shouldn't be).

You have technology and logic, the creep never tires and never stops. The battle is a puzzle, the end has not been decided.

So great. There are tons of systems to manage. The fighting is decent. The resource management, home upgrades and influence from missions are all balanced pretty well.

The world seems vast enough and there hasn't been a grindy part yet.

With 40 hours a beta and now the Steam realease, I can recommend Malevolence.

If you played Bard's Tale, Wizardry, Might and Magic or any rogulike made, you will be at home here.

Nobody is holding your hand here. You will have to use tactic, skill, strategy and luck to make progress here.
