4.5 hours in. This game is so beautiful and fun to explore. Just enough guidance without being too explainy. For an early access game, I'm really impressed with its current state!

Incredibly fun! Also a long time Overwatch player and this game is so refreshing - feels like the how it did playing OW the first few years.
This game's art style is so beautiful, animations are amazing, and so many ways to play this game. Love the team special abilities, like how the shark can attach to groot - so inventive. Free to play with insanely priced cosmetics is a choice... Like I don't think I'll ever pay $20 for a skin. But tis free to play game economics these days.

Building a roller coaster is SO frustrating. IDK if it's a bug or intended, but I can't manage to open a roller coaster during the campaign that meets 5 fear without it exceeding 20 and I can't open it. Like WTF. There needs to be better UI tools in place to guide you when you are banking too hard or increasing g-force too intensely. Waiting for a train car to test the ride to provide that data is so cumbersome and repetitive too. I really want to love the game, I love the addition of the pools and flumes. But it is ridiculous trying to build the most basic coaster in a game with literally the word coaster in it.

They seem to pour so much money into this game yet it takes them 6 years to implement insanely basic quality of life features. Still a trash game.

I have to admit coming from the first game I was VERY skeptical about JW2. The first game was fun for a few hours but just SO shallow in features and gameplay depth. What this game does share from the first though is the detail in the dinosaurs and animations. They are just so well done and even better in this game.
What I appreciate they've improved on is the integration of the film franchise storylines into the Chaos Theory mode. The campaign mode was more like an extended tutorial to be honest, but playing the chaos theory mode is really letting me relive my movie fantasies of being in control of those parks. My only wish is that more time was spent to really customize the parks to mimic the film franchise maps in more detail. It'd be just so cool to see all the landmarks and specifics from the movies as real maps that I get to control and relive in game form. However, despite that, I find the attention to detail in skins/cosmetics so that the amenities and maintenance buildings match the styles from the different movies to be really well done and it's just so fun to build the park in the original JP look and feel.
There's a lot I love about this game so far about 6 hours in and I've only played through the campaign and JP1 chaos theory, and I'm looking forward to trying the other chaos theory modes and even sandbox.

If you're on the fence about buying this one after the first game, definitely give it a shot, especially right now as it's on winter sale as this game is definitely worth it. I'm so glad I bought it.

Wow one of the most creative games I've played in awhile. The story is very rich, the world is so detailed and beautifully designed, lots of dark topics are discussed. The game is challenging at times where I multiple times would have AHA moments and figure out the clues. I love games like this that are challenging but not beyond reason. You can tell the creators of this game poured their hearts into it. There's no other game like it. I highly recommend you play this through as it will challenge your views on what games can be and how games can tell stories. Outstanding game.

There are aspects of this game that are fun like the art direction, some of the maps, and the MMO competitive aspect. But wowie there are a lot of things that need to be improved. Like varying up the maps so they don't seem so copy paste style wise. Was there no creativity in the level design?
Another huge negative is the character control, it feels like some maps are somehow near impossible if using a controller vs mouse/keyboard. There are maps I dread with my controller because of this.
And another huge negative are the server disconnects. You get through several matches, maybe even just the first round only for the server to close kicking you and your progress off.
And last the physics. I get that this game is supposed to be unpredictable and physics are supposed to work against you, but jesus they could at least make the balls more realistic. You barely graze the side of it and it knocks you over even though it's going a different direction. Or even the physics of the rollers halfway up on the Race map.

As of now I would not recommend buying this game full price.

It's fun to play with friends. The type of game you play for a few hours, save, and come back to since the game takes so long to play. I've never played a CIV game until this one but I've enjoyed it. Takes a lot of explaining from friends and youtube videos on strategy to get good.

Really great DLC. Much longer than the other DLC. It'll take 2-3 hours at least to complete this expansion. Original game took me about 4-6 hours to complete. Highly recommend this DLC and the main game to anyone who loves Inside or Limbo.
