Buy Fallout 3 instead.

While there are marked improvements in gameplay over Fallout 3, they are greatly diluted by the vast amounts of fluff added to the game. The fact that the story and atmosphere are as bland as cardboard nearly discounts all of these improvements. I'd only suggest this game if you're a big fan of the Fallout series. There are occasions where you can have some good fun, but that may only be 4 hours out of 10 and believe me when I say those other 6 hours will be wasted.

Critique points: Better gunplay, good amount of weapons and diversity, small amount of time actually using them, improved leveling system and player progression, poor map design, underwhelming Vegas strip, pointless dialog options, excessive amount of time spent talking to NPCs, bland atmosphere, story line, and all around writing.
