As a big fan of the original, it's pretty good! Matches the same vibes, and doesn't pare down or simplify any parts of it, like a lot of mainstream sequels do. It's full of weird systems and interactions, and forces you to manually traverse the world, much like a strand-type game.

Played since the beta on my laptop with fine performance and no major issues, then with the latest upadate they changed it so the game won't launch! Not even an error message!

I had to search through google to find that the issue is they locked out any GPUs with less than 4GB vram. I find it hard to believe they changed the renderer so much that it can't work anymore, they're just locking out low spec hardware.

honestly disgraceful, but whatever. I've been waiting for more than a year for them to add a big team battle map that isn't just a few cramped lanes, I guess I'm never going to play it if they do

It's Halo. Most of the Halos anyways. The best ones anyways.

The original trilogy are classics. The first one hasn't aged as well as the others, but it's was innovative and influential in it's time. They're all very good anyways.

Feels like a neat little proof of concept

game about dropping out of college, close friendships, good music, nostalgia, existential terror, the end of the world, and pizza parties.

but it's well worth the price; I love this game more than anything.

Replay it a few times before moving on to Last Light, and pay attention. That ending hit me like a brick wall, in a very good way.

I've been playing Nuclear Throne since it was Wasteland Kings, and it is, without a doubt, one of the best games of all time. Everything: the enemies, the characters, the overpowered weapons, the music, and the loading screen "tips" exude more charm than most games can handle. Each character, weapon and powerup feels unique and powereful; the action is intense, there can be hundreds of bullets flying everywhere, and it feels great.

Fish can roll. 10/10
