Unable to complete the game and my save is ruined because one of the NPCs is bugged in a mission at the beginning of the game and blocks you from moving past him. He is stuck, so my entire save file is stuck. Literally unplayable.

Edit: I found a workaround to this bug which is outlined in a discussion thread for the game. Many of these have been patched - that said I think the game is 100% worth it (very fun) despite the flaws. Now that I can play again - I am going to shift to a recommended buy.

Honestly, the game is VERY fun. Right now hackers and being able to stay connected to do anything are HUGE issues and really impact my ability to play the game. I am trying to play more whenever i can get it to work. Once these issues are resolved, I will revise my review.

I would not recommend the game right now, but LATER I would recommend it. Ultimately the connection issues should be resolved and once they are the game would be really fun.

It is NOT worth getting the game and wanting to play it all the time and being unable to when you can't stay connected.

The story pace was too slow for me and online is more fun.

this game is a lot of fun great management game also you can cheat on your wife and cut off peoples legs so that makes me enjoy it

played a ton of hours on ipad too, amazing game and absolutely recommended. great for couples or friends to coop as well

No Man's Sky NEXT is worthy of play. It's the "minecraft in space" with missions and quests and a full fledged game (with still more to come) that I originally expected. There are lots of interesting puzzles, different paths to get what you want, and plenty of challenge in survival. Absolutely recommend picking it up now.

I have 2,000 GB bandwith monthly, and my biggest concern after downloading this game was that I had wasted 2GB of it.

Gameplay did NOT feel like videos at all, and I have a very well equipped computer.
Voiceover is hilariously bad, like something you recorded in Windows 98.
Character control and movement is sluggish and slow.
UI is poorly designed, icons are confusing and not easy to understand at first.
Feels like this would have been a big hit if it was released in 2000, but it's a few years behind in development.

This could be SO neat but just needs so much work.

Worth a purchase at $10-12 or less for the game + DLC. Not worth more.

There are brilliant little elements sewed in to an otherwise repetitive open-world FPS. Interesting concept, good game to play for a few days or a couple of weekends.

Isn't going to net you hundreds of hours, but you'll get your $10-12 worth considering I went to a movie last night for $14.25.

Refunded at level 3 or 4. Graphics are akin to something I would have expected on the Playstation 2. Game in general feels clunky, especially the GUI. Menus and options are not intuitive and feel like they would take a lot of getting used to as the make no natural sense. Animations feel rigid and like general garbage. Sound effects are no better. Enemies and their AI are generally poor quality and feel like blobs bouncing around the map. Difficult to tell items you can harvest from those you can't (Rocks, Plants, etc).

I would not recommend this game. Feels like a RUST ripoff that doesn't even come close. I was hopeful for a different take on the genre, but I don't see how without completely rebuilding the graphic engine and the user interface this game could go anywhere.
