This was deeply enjoyable. No jumpscares, no chases, no one but you, your confusion, and a slowly mounting sense of dread.

I also very much enjoyed the ending.

If you like puzzles, a little mystery, and achievements for hidden objects, buy it.

This game is truly enjoyable. It carries in it the spirit of Myst, but it is truly its own animal. It brings back the same feelings of playing puzzle point-and-clicks in the 90s and early 2000s. The puzzles are challenging and yet straightforward - the answers are intuitive, even if they take you some time to discover. The story is intriguing, with notes appearing from various characters, and unfolds seamlessly with the gameplay. The astrological references are truly enjoyable if you're familiar with what's being referenced, and added some additional depth to the story for me.

Early Access Review
This game is beautiful. It is stunningly well-crafted visually, and truly captures the imagination. The puzzles are fun, each new room is a delight to discover, and while the narration is at times annoying it is also charming in its own way.

This game is also buggy as all ♥♥♥♥. It is, at times, a game breaking level of buggy. I had to restart my original playthrough to get around some bugs in the pool table room (where the pool cues glitched into the wall upon being set down and were no longer retrievable). I don't think I will finish for this reason, but truly hope the devs manage to fix it.

This game was enjoyable to a point, although at times it did not feel very straightforward or intuitive - both things I like when I'm trying to be immersed in a game so that I can feel scared. The game was creepy, with little spooky surprises along the way that I appreciated.

I am very turned off by the inability to save. It is still worth playing, but I personally will not be able to finish as I needed a break in my first playthrough and do not want to have to put in the effort to redo everything.

DEVS: Make your games saveable. Don't expect us to play in one sitting, because not every player will be able to dedicate the same amount of time or handle all of your spooky dialogue at once. This game was not completable in 45 minutes for me, and I will likely not complete it now due to having to completely restart.

This game has promise, but thus far has failed to deliver on it. There are some major flaws with the approach that have led me to decide not to attempt finishing:

- the lighting is so dark that you cannot see much of the levels. When I increased the brightness, it suddenly reverted back to being dark, rendering it difficult and unenjoyable to play.
- the majority of the horror comes from jumpscares. There are some very good creepy moments in the game, but the jump scares get old quickly and frankly feel lazy.
- The game doesn't have too many puzzles persay, and instead progress is made by finding objects that allow you to progress. This is unenjoyable and frustrating, as the aforementioned dark nature of the game makes it at times hard to see what you should be interacting with.
- You are only able to save at the beginning of a new level, so if all this frustrates you and makes you want to take the game slower or take breaks when you've gotten too fed up, you're ♥♥♥♥ out of luck and will have to redo everything again once you're ready to give it another shot.

I wanted more but didn't get it. Disappointed.

Excellent game - very creepy, slow buildup like I like. It managed to be unnerving without the use of chases, which I very much appreciate. The story was vaguely Lovecraftian, and well-crafted throughout.

Very good for the price, and I'm very impressed that this was the dev's first game.

Not worth the money. The only truly scary part of this game is the jumpscares from the "sister" figure. The storyline is effectively just a very stereotypical story of abuse within a family structure, with one golden child and one abused child. Story development happens through picking up documents written by the siblings in the backstory, and listening to narration through radio/tv. The radio/tv narration includes graphic descriptions of (physical and emotional) child abuse, which I imagine was intended to add the "horror" component to the game. Personally, I think it's cheap and insulting to use child abuse modeled after things real world survivors have gone through as a basis for a story. It lacks creativity, and makes the game unenjoyable for survivors of the types of child abuse it dramatizes.

This game is not at all worth the money.

Absolutely terrific slow-burn horror puzzle game. Very simple point and click, no chases but a few opportunities to ♥♥♥♥ up - only one of which will prematurely end your game. The voice acting is phenomenal for a game of this price range. This is a short and sweet little delight hidden within the steam store. There are little historical and pagan easter eggs that flavor the whole game, and you might even learn a little something playing. More than worth the price for a laidback spooky afternoon.

This game billed itself as Lovecraftian, and it follows through on some aspects. Yet, it starts off heavy-handed, spoiling any mystery or building of dread that could have happened. This initial "nightmare" scene is completely unearned and ruined any suspense the game might have had for me, turning it into yet another jumpscare and chase fest.
