Great game, a labor of love all around.

Concept: peggle/pachinko with you selecting which powerups you invest in along the way, trying to get a good combination of them going. Beating the bosses, buying stuff, choosing your path.

Very solid execution: lovely fx and music, pacing, different "builds" you can go with, careful visual style, mindful level design. Solid, not over the top jokes, more like "winks", even. Good translation (at least to my native language), and a lot of languages included, which I definitely appreciate. The tiny details in the execution overall show the care that went into it. Lovely job.

They've also thought of implementing replayability without going with the "it's impossible to finish on the first go" route, cause I did finish it on the first go, it's quite doable.

The downside would be that it doesn't have "too" much of genuine replayability and feeling of endless-ness, it's, like, a "lighter" roguelite than Dungeons of Dredmor or Spelunky, or even my beloved Demoncrawl, which might be a more fair comparison. But these are exceptionally good and deep products. This one is very good now as well. Just not _as_ deep. Maybe the updates could bring more encounters/balls/extra modes some day? Maybe.

Thanks to the team, lovely time.

A great little game if you like Rogue-likish idea of "let's throw it all together and see if you can survive". Very nice graphics, it all neatly ties together.

Bleak first impression.
The idea is nice, the execution is highly unpolished.
Puzzles are somewhat fine.

• First things first: the difficulty is all over the place by the nature of the beast. Seemingly no balance whatsover, just assuming you already know the rules and don't need to be told what to do.
• UI is so minimal that it starts to hurt the functionality. MENU is just a level selector. You can only turn music/sound on and off, no volume controls. You can't zoom in to see the puzzle better (can you?), even when the screen is more than half-empty; poor people with poor vision on laptops. Switching between UI colors uses a slow "stylish" fadeout for some reason every time you switch. The whole thing feels uncohesive, even if you ignore that it's obviously an attempt at making a desktop-tablet universal UI.
• Mouse controls are not too "predictive" so gestures can become tedious. You feel like this had to work, but it didn't and the line is stuck now. Why not keep it to the border if I'm past the border, for example? It would feel nice.
• No hints or other things, if you're stuck you're stuck. For the puzzle that looks like a casual game (and it's literally the first Steam tag), it's kind of brutal to drop the tutorial and hints.
• Yes, again someone worked on sounds and collected music separately, or they are deaf. SFX are both tonal and of course they are out of key. That's a tradition seemingly already. Ugh.

I might play it more, but the whole "relaxing" pitch — IDK about that.
Criminally cheap, but that makes it ok in my head, does not "hurt" to not to refund it. And I wanted a line puzzle.

Very very good first impressions.
• it might look corny, but I'm telling you it has its kids charm and the UI is very snappy.
• gets a bit challenging quick for a Picross afficionado cause a new set of rules.
• 3 layers for each puzzle, a cool idea and works in the setting.
• I liked the tutorial, concise yet convincing.

The overall impression is: it looks simple, but actually thought out in all the little details, style and looks. A lot of puzzles pose themselves as stylistically slick, being just lazy and empty, with stupid music and reverbed/washed out everything.

This one, people definitely thought about it.
And, a praise for a puzzle game in my book: ACTUALLY great music. And not a drone, either. Not that I dislike a good drone, but enough is enough.

Picross fans, on sale it's a no-brainer.

A barely interactive movie.

You press forward, you watch a cutscene, you press some other buttons, you watch a cutscene, the character does everything for you. No stakes in the game, you could always press forward again later. The plot starts extremely cheesy in the worst sense of the word, I couldn't bear to bring myself further than 40 min of that chore.

Maybe what's the games are or were back then, quick actions and stuff. I would do quick actions for something interesting. This one wasn't for me, at all. It's uber-cliche, it's forcing "feelings" on you without a setup. It's just a bad park ride, it's all cheap thrills. No rhyme no reason to cheapy-thrilly details, too. Now you're injured in the cutscene, now you're not. Now you have a lot of blood on your shoulders, but noone knows where did it come from. Etc.

And the plot and the presentation are ..."atmospheric"? These ones? Do you ever watch movies, series or read at all?

Bashes over the head with tense music, pointless blood and emotional struggles of an 8th-grader. Probably that's the target audience.

Gave nothing for my head or for my heart. Not my kind of a game at all.

Looks fine.

Very cool design so far.
Seems to be great addition to the game after the Leroy debacle. Recommended? :)

Dear minesweeper fans, DON'T TOUCH THIS GAME.

- wide variety of levels
- great balance of risk, luck and skill
- a lot, a lot of loot and things to discover
- tougher and tougher levels
- great, just great visual and sound design, one of the sweetest music I've heard in a puzzle game for a long, long time, and I'm a musician who usually turns this repetitive stuff off. this one actually inspires,

I CAN'T STOP PLAYING IT
I HATE IT
DON'T BUY IT

Seriously, dear developer guys, you did a wonderful job here.

P. S.: (Also you can play on Android, it's free-ish.)

====

Early Access Review
Test: Is it good for you?

See if these statements ring a bell.

- neural networks
- abstract
- creating life
- WHAT IN THE ACTUAL FСK IS HAPPENING??

If all that sounds perfect, go grab it.
Not stable, but I don't care.

Score: WTF/10

Perfect, colorful, vivid, amazing way to waste your life.
Do not touch this thing — unless this sounds perfect to you.
