I though this game would be boring or too childish, but this game is the definition of "Perfect amount of everything": chill but not boring, cute but not overly childish, challenging (the puzzles focus mainly on attention to details and memory) but definitely not impossible. Works great on the Steam Deck and it's been a great game to play to wind down after work. The complexity is just right: it's easy to figure out but not too easy, and it's also not complicated enough to make you go in circles for an hour. It's also kinda addictive and it really motivates you into being a completitionist and solving every task/achievement, without too much struggling. I highly recommend this game if you're looking for something to chill down with, while exploring, discovering short stories and warm characters.

As a huge fan of detective shows and movies, The Wolf Among us delivers BY FAR one of the best "shows" I've ever "watched". I'm not the kind of person to have patience for story and dialogue but the story got me so good I often got caught by surprise when I had to make a decision because I was getting so into hearing all the conversations.

It's a wonderful take on the "not so happily ever after" concept, done extremely well, true to the story of the characters we are all familiar with, but also realistically brutal (financial issues, debts, shady "activities", etc.) . You can also play exactly the hero you want to, whether it's playing by the rules and being kind or being the most despicable character and being mean to everyone. The game delivers some tough choices sometimes that I really loved, especially since at the end of the chapter/episode you can see if most players agreed with you or if you're in the minority. And the character will also remember what you say and do so yes, repercussions are a huge thing here.

I loved this game from the first 15 min and I'll highly recommend it to ANYONE!

I never thought I'd enjoy a bullet hell game until I played Vampire Survivors. This game scratches an itch I never thought I had! Once you start understanding all the items and the evolution of them, you start feeling in control and it becomes extremely satisfying: all the AoEs, the numbers on the screen, the flashing, the sounds, everything ties together in a masterpiece!

Warning: if you play for too long, whenever you close your eyes you'll just see enemies and gems pulling/coming towards you. It's worth it tho!

OVERALL: This game is the best toxic relationship I've been in!

Here's the deal! I never thought I'd like a Space themed game, but NMS has opened a whole new world for me.
  • The graphics are gorgeous and it's a pleasure to roam around and discover new planets.
  • You have endless posibilities for almost everything! You won't get bored too soon!
  • Building in this game is by far one of the best base-building experiences ever. I found myself roaming from planet to planet, finding gorgeous places with amazing views and building for hours. Anything you can imagine, you can probably build it.
  • Fighting isn't mandatory. Unlike the majority oven Survival games, you can enjoy this game peacefully most of the time.

HOWEVER, this game has broke my heart several times of the bugs. I do appreciate all the effort that's going into fixing and improving the game, but NMS has a bitter-sweet taste for me:
  • I spend hours working on a complex base, upload it, sign off, sign in the next morning and part of the terrain and folliage has grown back and is basically swallowing my camp. Clean it up, sign out, sign in next day, and the terrain has "grown" back.
  • I naturally assume that maybe the planet I am on is buggy and maybe I'll have more luck on another planet. Nope... same thing.
  • I'm playing with a friend. He dies, he respawns, comes back to the planet he died on, and the game bugs and he can't get back all his inventory because it just doesn't exist anymore.

Overall, one of the best games I ever played but also one of the buggiest.

OVERALL GREAT, if you're looking for a short game

Had a hard time debating wether this game is a Yes or a No, but I decided to go for a yes because it mostly DID deliver what I was expecting.
  • It's chill and relaxing (loved this)
  • It's simple. No need to stress, worry, keep track of hundred of tasks or storylines.
  • The characters design and the story is super nice and sweet.
  • Having the "idler" part is quite satisfying because you can focus on tasks and the storyline without having to farm currency.

However:
  • Because of the "idler" part, you will end up having A LOT of currency. As in, too much currency, that you won't have what to spend it on.
  • The game is kinda short. Finished it in less than 4hours. (It's not that bad, but I kinda wish I could've played it for at least 10 hours.)
  • Once you finish the storyline, there isn't much to do. There's no more quests, nothing to spend currency on, nothing new to discover, nowhere new to go. You can only stay, fish, and make money you can't spend.

Early Access Review
I would only recommend this game to people looking to goof around and try abstract art or to kids to be honest. I bought this game after they announced the tablet support and I was super excited for it. However:
  • I didn't really get any support for my Cintiq. The game just wouldn't recognise my tablet/pen at all.
  • The tools themselves are fun, but you will most likely get bored by them really soon.
  • To experiment more, you will probably want to buy more tools. To buy more tools, you will need money. You earn money by making art, either comissions, or just drawing whatever you want. I found myself just drawing random abstract stuff in order to get money quicker and try more tools.
  • The money you earn from your art (as far as I tried this game) doesn't really reflect how high quality it is. I found myself selling a painting I've worked on for longer, at the same price as a random line on an empty canvas.
  • If you're hoping this game will teach you the basics, it won't, because the tools aren't really realistic.
To be fair, the game felt as if I have to draw, but with a handicap, unfortunately. It just made me want to open Photoshop and actually draw something.

Installed this once, gave it a go, got really turned off by the pixel-look (not my type of game) and uninstalled.
Reinstalled this a few days ago and I'm 50h in, year 3, self automated farm, married, finished the first mine... oh boi I'm addicted and I need help because I'm loving this waaay too much.
