I've played Darkest Dungeon a few years ago, then played this recently. I thought - is DD1 better? So I played that a while until it got very hard & punishing. However I kept thinking about DD2 and it's good aspects. I now believe that DD2 is the better game. It's hard but fair. The more you know about the abilities the easier the game gets and the more in control you feel. I've just finished the final confessions boss & look forward to getting some more achievements.

Very fun game - a mix of tower defense and RPG. The best part is that it often creates nail-biting finishes. Very well designed.

I bought this about 3 or 4 weeks ago and it's amazing. The difficulty is tough (balanced) so I haven't finished yet, but it's definitely a breath of fresh air. Everything in the world is interesting, and the combat is always fun (unless you're getting slaughtered). Must buy for a TBS fan.

I'm enjoying this much more than AoW3. The factions are interesting, the tech tree is fun & mods keep your beginner units relevant for the whole game. Great fun!

Can't invert both axes when using a controller. I'll change the review if/when it's implemented.
