An absolute gem of a game. Sandbox? Zen garden?

First enjoy effortlessly create aesthetic small villages.
Then enjoy the process of understanding, little by little, how the different interactions programmatically generate some elements (e.g. stairs, small flags, gardens) and awe in wonder when you accidentally discover something new.
Then start being ambitious and start building bigger, more complex cities. Colorful towns. Impossible, intricate, architectures.

Or just use it as you zen garden, placing blocks one by one, enjoying the really polished experience of building your little world.

There is no right way to "play" this game, as long as you have fun all of them are right and I greatly recommend trying it and find your own unique way of enjoying this little gem.

For those who already know Freebird Games there is not much more to say without spoiling the story.
You get what you may expect from one of Kan's games, and it doesn't disappoint. If you loved To The Moon, you're definitely gonna love this one.
I'm even going as far as to say that this retroactively makes To The Moon and Finding Paradise even better with how neatly it ties things up.

If you don't know To The Moon, don't play this game. Seriously.
It stands on its own merits, but it's much better played in the correct order, and both previous games are definitely worth your time, so go and play them all, you won't regret it.

Too addictive. Don't play this if you know you have trouble resisting games that are too compelling.

Old school.
Like, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ old school.
Awesome graphics? Well, for the time yes, compared to now... well, you know what you're getting into.
Awesome splatter unadultered monster killing and dungeon exploration on an alien planet.

Full disclosure, I don't even have nostalgia goggles, never played it before. It's just good.

One of the few games I keep coming back to play (except TF2). Great single player, but also hours of fun in the coop with friends, and even much more in creating and testing custom levels.

Absolutly great value, especially now that it's so cheap!

Pretty nice indie platformer, with focus on exploring and on the atmosphere.
Music is absolutely on point for every different... let's call it scenery, since those are not really levels, and it's a really nice music on its own. (included in the purchase)
The sceneries itself vary nicely from absolutely psichedelic to normal to scary or alien saving the game from ever getting visually dull.

Due to how short this game is I don't feel right recommending it at full price, but if you like the genre (atmospheric puzzle platformer) I would definitely recommend to put it on wishlist and wait for the first sale.

Despite the short runtime I'm happy to recommend this game for three reasons:
Gameplay wise for its ability to introduce new mechanics and ways of making them interact with each other.
Aesthethics wise for the really neat minimal art that made me wish for a collection of them without the game graphic to use them as wallpapers and relaxing sound design/music.
Story wise for its ability to tell a cute sweet story through the pictures shown at the end of each puzzle with the nice minimalist drawings already mentioned, making you want to progress more not only for the satisfaction of resolving the puzzle itself, but also to see what happens to the little dude next.
Really well done, congratulations to the developers for this little gem.

I know it was a cheap game, but really really too short, no real mechanics to keep exploring, too simple and quick.
100%ed it in 35 minutes, 20 of which spent afk because of IRL stuff going on.
Not even engaging.
118 achievements raining on you one after the other.
Seriously? An achievement for any menu button, 2 achievement for each level, one for starting it, one for completing it?
It's just padding to say "look at this game: 118 achievements!"

Let's say it took me 20 minutes to finish.
That's one achievement every 10 seconds.
Riddicoulous.
Not even worth the 0.79€ on sale.

Loved Hook, love this one. Relaxing, really satisfying to learn the mechanics by yourself, really satisfying to start by looking at a convoluted mess and see how it turns to something beautiful and clean.

Absolutely love it.

A really really interesting experience and a great way to spend half an hour or a little more.
A fun maze/platformer with little hints of puzzle elements, where the real protagonist is the craziness of the levels.

It would maybe get boring if it were longer, but as is it has the right balance between too short and too long.

Recommended to whoevere liked games as Kairo, NaissanceE and Antichamber.

Also, little tip: if you don't like mouse sensitivity, you can change it in the settings.cfg in the game folder.
