Instead of playing this incoherent cesspool of a game, try channeling your energies into other, more productive activities. Study harder, turn your C's to A's, and get into a great college. Spend more time with your significant other, and strengthen your relationships. Pick up other hobbies, and refine your skillset for your future careers. But sadly, as of now, your parents are fighting downstairs, your dad giving your mother another black eye, she screams for your help, but you do not listen, because your headphones are noise cancelling. You are single, the girl you infatuate over is not thinking about you. You're sweaty, not too fat, but not fit either, worthless, mediocre grades, acne all over you worthless face, and you're trying to escape the clutches of the inevitable reality of your situation. The toxic community will only enable all your vices, giving you the desire to either kill yourself, or kill others. Dota 2 is a spawn of sin, where the inner sinful human emerges. Racism, sexism, classism, and other harmful remarks fill the chat boxes, instead of team synergy. Over-inflated, egotistical bone heads fill the server regions, yelling their primitive and uneducated insults.

I started this game with high hopes. I was inspired by my older cousins hyping up for Dendi's, "Fountain Hook". I introduced this game to my friends as well. A few months later, it became an addiction. I quit after a few years, and it felt beautiful. I was a new man. Then my friends got into it again, and I decided to join again. Flashbacks and pain is all I got. Don't get me wrong, I wasn't bad at the game, but I wasn't a pro either. All memories, whether a clean rampage or a rank up, it all felt like painful ones.

Dota 2 is really one of those games that separates boys from men. You are not a man if you play this game.
