Wasn't a part of the hype train and went in with no knowledge about the game.

The environment and sound is unbelievable, especially the details. Better than any back alley grub I've ever gotten my paws on, no contest. No bread crumbs either, which in this case, I enjoy. Beginning half was super fun and interesting, where the later half feels like a completely different game. I greatly prefer the beginning, unfortunately. If it was like the beginning front to back, and continued in stepping up it's difficulty, it would've been one of my all time favorites.

Game good, I boggled, squeak.

Took about 3 servings too many edibles and bought this cause it looked good for my state at the time. Played for less than an hour before the peak(s) hit and I willfully passed out. Before then it was making my jelly brain jiggle and was good.

Playing it while lucid now, and is still a nice puzzle game.

Definitely some UI jank at the moment, but otherwise is super fun, and can't wait for what's in store for the full game!

I've barely scratched the surface and I can already tell this will eat up my free time, without a moment feeling dull. I already highly, highly recommend this game, but I'll come back to this review once I actually finish it.

Was spoiled and saw what was in store. I'm pretty disappointed, and I'm torn.
Using "It's just a dream" as a writing device is by far my biggest pet peeve with any story. Diffuses any tension and mystery, dismissing everything that was built up. I can understand the many people who argue that it doesn't really fit the bill of "it's just a dream" but that's the only way I can see it. The gameplay is really really good. The visuals, music are on another level. The story is extremely well done, up until the end where it's thrown away.

This still might be absolutely worth it for many. Maybe I'm too stubborn about that one thing. The fact that I don't think I could touch the game ever again makes me not want to recommend it to others.

Good adventure game for meticulous types.

I'm very pleased to note that Casual is very, very playable. Seeing bots is essentially not possible in casual now, although cheaters still exist. Such a breath of fresh air.

A playable casual server is a unicorn to find now, and although community servers are still fun it's just not the same. Don't waste your time in casual until Valve does something substantial about it if you decide to try out funny hat game.

As of recent, casual games are generally playable now. However, I still don't recommend yet, but that may change if this stays consistent for a longer term.

I wish there was a "middle" level of recommendation other than a yes/no choice, however I will lean towards yes.

Great art, enjoyable music, level design is pretty great too! With the caveat of being repetitive and kind of not great writing -- although the story is good for what this game is. And obviously, as others have mentioned, it's not really as momentum based as most are used to.
