So here's the thing first. The game has bugs and graphical glitches. Most of these bugs and graphical glitches are solved with a simple reload of your game and you go on like nothing happened. Some just stick around, but nothing is game breaking. In my almost 67 hours of game play, I experienced one crash, which was after I closed the game for the night. Are these things annoyances? Yes. Does the game still need to be optimized? Yes. The funny thing about these things? They never once stopped my enjoyment of the story, the massively open world, and everything to see and do in Night City. That surprised the hell out of me.

The world is jammed pack with secrets, exploration is key, seeing and doing everything and just experiencing what the world has to offer is just as fun, entertaining, and amazing as the main story. CDPR out did themselves in story, characters, and character development, in my opinion. The choices you make for your character, from background, what you wear, how you build your character with attribute points and perks is nearly limitless choice.

I have thoroughly enjoyed myself so much, that I am already starting another play through after finishing my first. So I guess that pretty much says where I stand on things? I have enjoyed this game so much and has been the perfect escape for me. I look forward to the patches that improve stability, optimization and squashes more bugs, and I know those patches are coming, they just take time. I look forward to the FLC and the DLC that will come for this game, as I know they will be just as amazing as what we got in The Witcher 3. The future only looks great for this game, in my opinion.

So what does this mean? If you want to know why everyone is enjoying this game and you can't wait, buy it now, you won't be disappointed. If the annoyances of bugs, graphical glitches and optimizations aren't something you want to deal with now, wait and buy it when it's better. For PC I'd say that's likely after the January and February patches. Either way, you won't be disappointed in this game.

This is a great game. I have thoroughly enjoyed the story that comes with the base game and the player generated content is flat out amazing as well. Harebrained Schemes has done a good job capturing the Shadowrun Universe in this amazing turn based rpg. The only thing I would change to this game concept is adding in cooperative play, however, even without it, the game is still amazing and worth every penny!
