One of my first games I was a medic, and we spent the first 30 minutes of the game fortifying a point. It was most of our squads first game, but I had played two others at this point. I knew that it would come in handy, and an hour later I was proven right. our whole team was pinned into this now fortress. I was the only medic in the fort and quickly gained the approval of the squad leaders as I ran around healing everyone. I was running to get another squad leader up 2 hours into the fray and realized my friend was bleeding out. He was still giving orders as I screamed at him to get down, and almost like he was in a trance he yelled out over the area chat for a medic. I ran over using my last field dressing to patch him up before demanding an ammo pack. Next thing I know he is patting me on the back and telling me I was right about fortifying the roof. I quickly had to run and revive an lmg operator who died defending a barricade. I arrived to find a squad outside with the leader, who I had just revived earlier, demanding I tear down the barricades saving our lives to allow them in while they were 3 feet from an open entrance. I proptly healed the lmg, and told the officer no. before walking off to finish my duties as he yelled about a court marshal. Then my squad commander is yelling that a humvee is opening fire on the one side with an opening, and it is flanked by 2 squads. We all rushed to the entrance and beat back the offensive. Five hours into the game it ended, 4 of witch was spent denfending that damn alamo. As the screen showed a lost my team screamed in disbelief, and we just knew the enimies were flooding over the fort. Then someone said remember the alamo.
