Its good. Really good. When mods come out, it will be the best game ever made.

Legends of Eisenwald is a real gem. I see it as a zoomed-in version of Medieval 2, with a great plot line (since Medieval 2 doesnt really.) Or.. like Mount and Blade overland map, with a storyline. It took me a little while to get into it, it might have just been my mood, I wont blame the game... but boy, does it really grab you after a little while.
Betrayal, intrigue, lore, equipment, training, strategic battles. The writing and story are FANTASTIC. The lore is deep. Nothing to hate, everything to love. I have about 13 hours in, and Im just scratching the surface... I think there will be many, many more hours for me here. Very original. Get it.
Some people have criticized the combat.. I just want to say, I think their wrong. It varies greatly depending on what types of troops you use, which changes the fighting style a lot. Also, I want to say that to me, this game is not all about fighting, its about the story. Sometimes I even use the Fast Fight feature just to get to the next story thread.

9/10! .... -1 simply because nothing is perfect. 100% fun level.

This is a fun and challenging action beatem-up game. If you like the Avatar, it feels like youre playing the show.

I was really excited to try this game. Unfortunately, upon clicking any option on the main menu, it crashes. After a myriad of ways of trying to get it to work, I tried asking for help on the forums, only to get a bunch of "Me too"s from other players, and a dead silence from the developers [Its been months]. Its really too bad. Running Win 7, AMD, Radeon.

This is hands down the best game Ive played in YEARS. It may be better than the old CRPGs. Its definately better than the new ones. Buy this game, and buy it full price.

I played the closed beta to release (so you dont see many game hours on Steam here)... But I loved this game. I never finished it because I was doing a lot of play testing which is slow. This game is like all the greats - Planescape Torment, Baldurs Gate, etc, but with a very unique world and perspective. It is a difficult game, no doubt. Save often. But get it, and enjoy a real RPG like they used to make them. 9/10

Let me start by saying that this game doesnt really do much that is brand new. It is an action RPG in the vein of Diablo, and all the others. HOWEVER.. what it does, it does very, very well! It is truly a joy to play. Your Van Helsing can wield swords, or guns, or both. The guns really does add a fun dimension of ranged attack I havent really seen. The game has a marvelous steampunk type of setting, and it has loads of little inside jokes scattered around in dialogue and small details. I would definately pick this up... it doesnt play like the rest, even though it has similarities. It feels unique, even in its overplayed genre. 8.9/10

Master of Magic for the modern era. Plays like a fantasy Civ 5. The ONLY thing I wish is that it had seperate tactical battle screens like the original Master of Magic did. Instead it resolves battles like Civ series.

Ive played every iteration of this game starting with the Commodore 128 version back in the late 80s, I got Pirates Gold in hte late 90s, and now this. It is basically the same gameplay from the 80s, which is endless, fantastic, satisfying, open world, but now with mini games, items and decent graphics. Its still fun today, even though its old. WIN.

Before Assassins Creed was first released, this is the game I imagined. Thats why I play this and not Assassins Creed. Immediately engrossing, fun, ful of secrets, challenges and fun.
