Otherwise, 9/10 great survival RTS

10/10 early access experience, everything from the visual design of the characters and the environment, to the weapon design and visual effects are executed pretty much flawlessly. WITHOUT ANY COST TO PERFORMANCE??? insanity. This game recommends a 1060 gpu for maximum settings IN 2024?>???? I feel like I haven't seen optimization on this level since Alien Isolation, it's absurd. Great work Astronauts, very excited for updates.

Gameplay-wise, if you've played Painkiller or any sort of similar arena shooter then you'll feel right at home here, EVERY SINGLE WEAPON feels incredible to use, even moreso once you evolve them. If you felt ripped off by Destiny 2 and wanted more of its gunplay, it has effectively been transplanted into this game 1:1 without loss, it's delightful.

Also, and I realise this is a very specific thing, but I wish that the revolver "Hunger" would reload one bullet at a time instead of using a speedloader, or at least have an option to reload it one bullet at a time by holding R, just so I can keep a mental tally of which of my bullets are charged shots.

the first time i played it was with a good friend of mine. we
we played it for almost 9 hours straight

as soon as i stood up from my chair my head began swimming and throbbing and i nearly fell over, as i hadn't moved or drank or ate anything for the entire duration

I would like to recommend the game but I have some grievances with a particular issue: The sound design.

My biggest issue with this is that large, robust flesh hulk enemies make almost no noise when they approach, and can spawn out of nowhere quite frequently especially on high difficulties, making them impossible to anticipate. The giant walker robots and the teleporting poison enemies, and the tripod walkers, they have no or terrible sound cues to let you know when they're nearby, making singleplayer extremely frustrating and random.

I mean, just read the phrase "Teleporting, explosive poison-inflicting enemy with no audible sound cues" and tell me it sounds like a fun experience.

absolutely love the atmosphere and music of this game

conversion might be a little overpowered- being able to convert Wet directly into health feels a little cheesy
