Once upon a time there was a boy named Adam. Adam drifted through life in a linear fashion without sight of an ending. Often he would notice thing repeating over and over again. As Adam progressed through life he came across multiple obstacles that seemed to be places before him with the sole function of hindering him in his quest to move forward. In primary school this came in the form of Greg, a fellow student that would constantly torture and bully him for no reason. Every day Adam would have to avoid this boy, hiding in bins and causing distractions. When it came to the last day of primary school Adam stood up to the bully, taking one of the bins he had become too well acquainted to and bashing Greg over the head, defeating him. After this day Greg found a new respect for Adam and they became best friends as they moved into senior school. Here the obstacles thrown in Adams direction where the hallway monitors. Adam would need to manoeuvre past them to get to class on time. One day Adam arrived to school 15 minutes late, as he would often do, but as he approach his class, he was caught by a nearby hallway monitor. After the inevitable attempted escapes and ultimate capture, Adam was sentence to spend a whole 30 minutes in detention after school. Such a thought terrified Adam to his very bones, but quick to pull himself back together he came up with a plan. Adam was well aware that a boy named Bill would also be attending the detention; this was clear as Bill was always in detention, but Bill never attended. Adam would arrive at detention with under the name of Bill and as the teacher took the register he would sneak into the teacher’s office and check Adams name off the list. Then after he had gone it would be naughty old Bill left to take the blame. Adam was free to live happily ever after, Or so it seemed...
