First off, I don't plan to buy any Creation content. This isn't anything against the people who work hard on mods and content as they do amazing work. I just don't see the need to do it. I also do not agree with how Tracker's Alliance Patch and Creation Content we handled. I feel they should of just had them all as a DLC option and packaged together into one item for the DLC. I do appreciate them adding stuff in as free patches, but DLC would have been better for that particular line item.

So, for me personally, and this is not something everyone will feel, but I have been having a blast with basic Vanilla Starfield. No, I am not some Bethesda fanboy who gets hyped up by everything they do. Yes, I do enjoy playing their games, but its because the style of gameplay that they lean to that works for me, and it doesn't bother me much. I enjoy 1st person RPGs and shooters, I like looting almost everything that I think will get me more in-game currency so I can buy better weapons and armor if they are available. I like customizing my home/ship. I like exploring and seeing what I can find and what I can see happen.

Alright, on the stuff I am always seeing people complaining about. The Temple Puzzles, the repetition of places in the maps, or the "lack of content", first off, there is a lot of content, and yes, a lot of it repeats. To me though its not all too different from shooting a gun in a game or punching things depending on your playstyle, you will constantly do those. I am not bothered so much by these except for the repetition of the same layouts out and inside of points of interest. And here is why.

The Temples are only confusing at first when you don't know how they work, but once you know what is going on they are extremely easy. You see spinning glowing star points about the size of your character, you float and boostpack into them. Sometimes they vanish because of timing out but then you just look around and find/go through the next one that pops up.

The repetitive locations isn't too much of an issue for me when it comes to bases and their layouts. The main gripe I have is with the enemy location placements inside them and how you see the same exact old corpse bodies and text based documents placed around.

Now one thing that isn't mentioned much by people which I do feel was a missed opportunity was being able to either Craft your own weapons, or upgrade the base ranking of your weapons or armor. They don't rank up with you. An example of what I would like is to be able to go to a workbench and make your weapon ranking go from Advanced up to Superior. What made me initially think about these, was finding a legendary weapon with some abilities I liked, but they had really low damage and did not feel worth holding onto because they were ranked lower than my non-modded advanced ranked gun.

For me, these are all the bigger issues that I had with the game. Yes there was some other stuff but for me these were the top ones. And even with all of these, I really am enjoying and liking the game a lot. If my time played of 755 hours hasn't tipped you off by this point. I started playing the game about a week after launch and have been putting in time for the game on and off every week when I feel I can without distrupting life much. The randomly generated maps every time you land in a new location do add a lot of variance to the game and the fact that every planet and moon has this is also a boon. If I can I will be adding more to my review when I can, If I can't. I hope that you will at least give the game a try, either on gamepass or buy it if you want to give it that chance, or watch a playthrough or something to save the money first in order to determine your own opinion about the game.

I wake up in an inflatable yellow survival raft with no idea what to do. I see a shark swimming around me and it bumps my raft. I panic and grab my oar and start paddling to a visible distant island. Once on the island I pull my raft on the sandy beach and cheer. My stomach growls and I realize how hungry and thirsty I am. I see a coconut in a tree and climb the tree. I see a rock and make it into a sharp tool. I smash the coconut open. Sweet delicious food! I eat the whole coconut and start to feel sick. I hear a noise and turn around. A GIANT CRAB starts chasing me!! I see a big wild boar and think I'll let it and the crab fight each other so I can run away. The boar smashes into me and flings me into the air a few times before killing me.

I wake up in an inflatable yellow survival raft with no idea what to do...

I would definitely recommend Stranded Deep to anyone who loves the idea of trying to survive in a tropical environment with sunken ships, sharks, and the ability to build bases and rafts to traverse the island chains to uncover a way out.

I have never tried the multiplayer option so I don't know how it is. A lot of people are saying its pretty buggy and crashes a lot which is unfortunate, but I would definitley say to give single player survival a go to see how long you can survive.

What I can say is take your time to learn the ins and outs. Using a quick press and a long hold of "C" to craft items that you pick up is your best friend. And "Tab is your Backback" Make a Coconut flask, a Water still, and a food smoker as fast as you can. If you can do these and then spear hunt fish you should be golden and good to go to work your way up. Also, the raft has emergency supplies if you need them.

Just be careful of Purple pokey starfish, sharks, crabs, snakes, boars, and you will be the best castaway survivor out there.

Quick result: I approve of the VR version of this game.

For a more in-depth review for the game played with an Oculus Rift and why I gave it this review rating, please keep reading below.

First off, I would like to say that my review is with an Oculus Rift and not a Vive so my thoughts no not reflect on how it might be with a Vive.

When I chose to get my Rift it wasn't because I had any thoughts of one VR headset being better than the other, I got it because at that point I wanted a VR headset and I knew more about it than I did the Vive at that point. I do not agree with the whole headset exclusive game thing because in my mind the headsets are no different than headmounted monitors with lenses, and motion game controllers that track movement a ton better.

But enough of that, you are reading this for my review of the game and how it works with the Rift, NOT my opinion on the VR headsets themselves. Okay, let's get into the nitty gritty.

For staters, the game looks pretty amazing in VR and does a pretty good job in the visual department minus some draw distance issues, and the occasional objects on the sides of the screen flickering in and out in places. (It's pretty awesome to see a full sized Codsworth in front of you.)

One thing that I do wish they would have done is made it so you could at least of been able to enable the ability to see your character's body in first person. I mean, what is the point of having different kinds of clothing and armor if you are unable to see them on yourself right?

The part though that does not transfer over well is the Touch controls and layout. This part I must say first-off is because it's pretty obvious that Zenimax made sure Bethesda didn't make the game for the Oculus Rift or the Touch. (Which I feel was pretty petty of them to do because all they are doing is hurting their customer base and in turn themselves in the sales department.) It is my hope that they wil change their outlook and remedy this, but it is wishful thinking.

Any compatability has been for the Rift and Touch controls has been added by Valve for SteamVR, (Which I am greatly appreciative of since now I am able to play something I would have otherwise not been able to, it is also for this reason that the following bugs I mention are not ones that I want to complain about). The current issues with the controls for Touch is that all menu and inventory scrolling is bugged and doesn't stay in place when you use the analogue sticks. The other part is that button press visuals for inventory looting and a couple other button layouts doesn't match the actions shown. There are some fixes that some people have made available online but I haven't tried any of them yet.

The game unfortunatly does not come with any of the story DLC (So one is not able to make themselves sick from the rides in Nuka World as of this moment).

Desite the number of negatives I have said about, the game has a good amount going for it. If you have an oculus rift the I would recomend having an xbox controller handy for the menu stuff but other than those the game is pretty solid. If you are a fan of Fallout 4 and want to see it in VR I personally approve of this version. The price is admittedly steep and high, but if you stop to think about it, how many large open world action RPG games are there currently available for VR? Especially ones that you could play for well over 20 hours and still keep having fun with it. (When I try to decide on if a game is worth the price I tend to tell myself that each 1 hour of gameplay for me is the equivilant of $5, so I play a game for past the total price I paid then I would say it was worth it). This Review was created after 2.4 hours of gameplay and I know I will be playing it for even more than that.

Okay. First off I really wish Valve would add a middle ground for the reviewing process instead of just Yes or No. I would vote the season pass for Fallout 4 would be in the middle for me. Even though I will say later in my review why that for myself I gave it a yes.

Starting off, when I first got the season pass it was before Bethesda hiked up the price to its current pricing of $49.99 and before any of the dlc content was actually out. (The reason I went ahead and got it was because I heard the price was going to go up, and since the I liked the DLC from Fallout 3 and New Vegas I decided in my head that, "Hey it should be worth it since those were good right?") Well, as the dlc first started coming out I wasn't all that impressed with it.

The first things to come out were workshop packs of items that you could use in the settlement building. These I were not all to impressed with starting off. The reason being that by that point there was already a number of mods available for the game that added those kinds of items. There was another workshop item dlc that came out as well later on. (With each dlc there was some new things added to the settlement items so I'm not entirely sure when particluar ones came out.) At some point there was a section added for making concrete structures and that was the one that I was pretty happy for since it made me feel like I could build "a more protected" settlement.

The first story dlc to come out was Automatron. I thought the story was fairly decent, although a bit short in comparison to the others. It brought in a new raider faction to the game called the Rust Devils. They use robots to attack people, and they also use robot parts for armor. It also added in the ability to create and build your own robots that you could use either in your settlements, or as supplyline runners (which makes it so you can use resources from one settlement to another without having the stuff on you. You could already do this with regular settlers but the robots can have some really nice upgrades), or as a traveling companion.

The second story dlc was Far Harbor. This one is a pretty decent size actually. It brings the player out to an island where there are 3 factions and you can decide how things go. There are a number of side quests that take place on the island that are intersting, and the island adds a number of new hostile wildlife to the game along with some new settlements for you to build on.

The third story dlc is Nuka World. For this one think Disneyland but just about everything is Nuka Cola branded and themed instead. There is at least 4 sections to the theme park, and there is also some areas you can go to outside of the park. This dlc brings in 3 new raider gangs, and number of interesting side quests, along with some arcade style games you can actually play in the game. Depending on what route in the story you go you can make this dlc go for awhile, or you can get through it fairly quick. The enemies tend to be a tougher than normal so if you go straight into it when the quest first pops up you might be in for a rough fight. This dlc also adds in a few new settlement spots.

The last dlc to come out is the Vault-Tec Workshop. This one has a really small story, and it adds a whole vault to the game that you design and build to your hearts content inside the limits of the designated areas. These areas tend to have enemies inside them which you first need to clear out. By going through the dlc it unlocks all kinds of new vault themed items that you can use. If you are like me and enjoy building up the settlements then you'll have a blast. If you don't, well then this dlc might not really be for you.

I for one feel like I have gotten my money's worth out the the seaon pass. Firstly, because for me I love exploring new areas, collecting everthing I find in the game, and I enjoy working with the settlement building system. I have also far have really enjoyed the new story content, they add in a large grey area for making choices and can make you question some of the choices you are making. The final reason I feel I have gotten my money's worth is because I personally look at the time I spend in a game, or area and say that one hour of my time playing the game is equal to at least a dollar payed. And since I have kept playing this past the 200 hour point I think I can say it was well worth it for me. This is why I reccomend this season pass. You get everything in the pass for cheaper than for paying each dlc by itself. By looking at the in game models and the work put into this pass I feel the devs put a good amount of time into this, depsite the lacking of even more separate dlcs.

I do understand that the $49.99 price is a bit steep, that is one of the reasons why I would give this a middleground review. That is the same price for a whole entire new game which these dlc are not. I reccomend that you try to get it when it is on sale for less for that reason.

Here are my thoughts for the new re-release of Skyrim.

The Positives:
- The game is still great in terms of gameplay, and has a fun story campaign. (It's still all the same)
- The game appears to run a lot more smoother on PC than the previous release - Most likely because of the 64bit support that is now included along with the game engine updates.
- The new lighting and visual changes look really nice (All those god rays)
- The game still supports mods (If you are like me and like to change things up either after the first playthrough or during it)

The Negatives:
- The game still randomly crashes periodically (Sometimes it happens faster than others)
- The game feels almost oversaturated in terms of color (Affected by my preferences anyways)
- The UI for the menus on PC has not changed at all (When I am in the inventory or a shop if I accidently click to the side of the item names it exits out and I have to redo it again.)

My Other thoughts:

- Is it worth buying? Yes if you don't already have a copy of Skyrim and think the price is good. (It's worth in my opinion since you get tons of content which makes up the whole game. I also, since I payed $59.99 for the original game and then some more for the dlc) Probably not so much if you already own it and don't care about the lighting changes, and the 64bit support, or if you don't want all the dlc.
- While the textures do not really look or feel any different for me they were not a big conccern since it does not change the gameplay. (And if I want to make them look "better" I could always toss a few mods in the mix). They have been updated though and do well.
- All in all though I think this is a pretty decent re-release

Early Access Review
Well, for starters I would say that I have really enjoyed what I have played of this story so far despite the fact that I did end up playing most of it with Offline mode turned on. The reason being offline with it is that I'm pretty sure my friends would be a bit like "What the heck are you playing" or something along those lines. But I digress, for me it has been pretty fun so far and I admit that it was not really what I had been expecting.

For starters, there are parts of it where you are actually talking to characters and collecting information in order to solve number of cases, and to work your way through situations. I didn't know the game had this in it as a feature so it was a pleasent surprise for me. For me it was pretty simple to do them, but it was fun none the less.

The next part of it that I wan't expecting was about how wacky some of the characters and their personalities are. I got a kick out of how silly the Police captain is and I did find some of the bad guys you encounter to be pretty funny as well.

Sadly though, I have progressed to the current end of what is available to play so I am left in suspense as to what Max will
encounter until more content updates come around. Luckily, there are mulitple numbers of story routes that I can play through to learn and find out more of what is going with the characters and how they fit into things. :)

I do recommend giving this game a shot if you like visual novels with fun and interesting plot twists and a bit of mystery. So far not everything is as it seems.

A little note to the developers if you happen to read this:
I really hope there is more that is going to happen at Coffee Shrine, the things that go on there really make my day. :D
And I really liked the hair color. I hope to see it make a return even if it's just once. :)

Well, I've had the game for a while now and while I would like to say that it was what I had hoped it would be it isn't anywhere near it. When I first started trying out the game I instantly hit a roadblock of "what are the controls?". There wasn't much in the way of tutorials and what I did find only helped me to get through the ship building phase. After that I couldn't really do much except for maybe make the ship move forward, at least I think it was going forward. To be honest I just quit playing it because I was hoping that the game would get the needed imnprovements since it was still in early access at that point. I have waited until now and it doesn't really look like much progress has occured and the game is no longer marked as ealy access. While I do get that stuff happens, I feel like this was an over ambitious project that is a bit of a dissapointment with the results. While I can still hope that the devs get it completed and functioning as advertised, I don't see it happening any time soon. I feel that this game might as well be considered dead unless it can get a big revival in the developement.

First off I would like to say that I really think that there should be a middle ground between the thumbs up and thumbs down. My personal opinion on this game is pretty neutral. As for why I put a thumbs down on this review it felt like right thing to do at the time. Alrighty then, here is my review.

Okay, before anyone says anything about the steam timestamp I want to say that I had been playing Firefall since the closed beta had really kicked off at some point just after 2010. The game is fun for if you want to go kill things and the visuals are good. I even put many many hours into the game. However, even though it has a certain amount of good things going for it there are a certain amount of things that happened to make me feel like I won't reccommend it. Am I being unreasonable? Maybe. I know it's just a game, and the developers can do whatever the like with it. But to be honest, I guess it's more about how dissapointed I am with where the game has gone since I started playing it.

First off, to understand where I am coming from I need to say some things about the beta and how the game had really changed from the initial designs when the game first started out.

Starting out, I thought the game had just about everything going for it. You had the different kinds of battleframes which you could switch back and forth from with no penalty costs, the begining tutorial was pretty good in introducing you to the idea of having to kill the bugs and the chosen, and in getting you to try and collect the resources by "thumping". They even had a pretty fun setup for doing team matches and deathmatches.

After a while a new update came out and took out the medic battleframe and changed it into the Biotech. It really affected some of the playstyles that you had come up with at that point. Which was okay since it was something different and it just took a bit of getting used to.

Later on, there was another update that added assault fights with the chosen and those were fun to. They even upgraded the battleframe system too and it looked cool and was fun to use.

But, then things started to change when the Founders packs showed up and the Bean market started. When I first heard of it I thought that it could be cool, but when it was enabled it wasn't anything like I thought it would be. Starting out, the prices were pretty outragous. While the first tier of the the founders pack was around the price of a new game and would have been okay the higher ones were kinda rediculous. But even worse was the Bean market and it's prices. I remember that one pair of cosmetic goggles was like $5 and higher. While I understand that since the game is free to play they needed money to keep it going it was just like "Wow, are they kidding me?". I put up with it because for me the rest of the game was still fun to play at that point and things could change.

Change they did. After a number of months after being inactive because of being busy, I logged back in just before the game came out on steam. The tutorial is completely different and even parts of the map are different. The Bean costs are still way too high and I don't think its right to charge people that much for cosmetics, especially since from what I can tell it is pretty hard to earn beans in game. The parts that bugged me the most though is how the Battleframe system has changed, and how it penalizes you with a cost for if you want to change your class.

I don't know what happened to make them end up putting those changes in the game but it kind've ruined the experience that I had with them.

I personally say that you should download it and try it for yourself to determine what you think about it. You can't always solely rely just on other people's reviews to determine if you will like a game or not.

I think that the Director's Cut Really does what it can to improve and build up on the original game.
