Joke review aside, I advise against getting the Starter edition on Steam, or at the very least, activating it as this will CANCEL your free trial (you are considered to be playing the free trial up until you ACTIVATE your first subscription).

Ideally, you will go through their standalone launcher and create the account through their platform so that you can avoid losing your free trial - enjoy Eorzea!

Never been so sad to not buy a deluxe, just to hear the OST ahead of time, it slaps harder than the first chapter final boss.
