This game had so much potential and fell so flat. I played it for 20 mins and honestly got so bored I stopped playing.

The intro cutscene implied some kind of story or selling dynamic, and I genuinely thought I was going to have to brew the potions, sell the potions, and maybe follow along some kind of story where I had to hide my questionable brewing practices. I was drawn in by the animation style, and the promise of a potion-brewing simulator, and perhaps even some kind of puzzle dynamic. SOME kind of purpose behind the reason that we are brewing the potions in the first place... but after 20 mins of "put the thing in the cauldron" I bailed out of sheer boredom.

I really hope that the Dev looks into fleshing out this game. Making it more challenging, adding a selling dynamic and perhaps even some kind of storyline. And if they do, I will happily revisit the game and edit this review.

This game desperately need polishing. The concept is awesome, and genuinely one that really appeals to me. Being an occultist sex worker. Sex positive with dark occult undertones is always going to tick boxes for me. Add a series of mini-games incorporated into the game-play, plus BDSM representation and an all round aesthetic that very much appeals to me, and this game is one that has ALL of the markings of a really promising game...

HOWEVER... It is a far cry from the other games from Madmind Studio. Having played, and enjoyed the likes of Succubus and Agony, I was expecting the same sort of finished product in this game. Unfortunately I found a fair amount of bugs and glitches that became extremely problematic. Not being able to leave the computer, or a cut scene, or from interacting with an object, having to reset, and the game not fully returning to the last save point meaning I missed out on several opportunities, proved extremely tedious.

Overall, I think the game has a lot of potential, and would love to explore it more, but it desperately needs some patching because the bugs that I found really detracted from the immersion and the gaming experience.

I was kindly sent a review copy for this game, and though I try and never let that influence my review, I think it is only right that this is known.

I received a copy for review. I try to never let that affect my judgement, but I like to make it clear that I did receive the game for free in exchange for a review.

It's a relatively simple jigsaw puzzle game that has fun artwork and leaves enough to the imagination that upon completion of the puzzle, it zooms out and reveals a more explicit picture. Puzzle games with extra rewards are something I am a fan of... however, (and I appreciate that this is a relatively new game), there is a glitch in the later levels where pieces will be displaced, sometimes ending off the "Board", sometimes under other pieces, making completion of the jigsaw impossible.

I actually got the game in early access and waited till it was fully released to see if they fixed this issue, unfortunately, it doesn't seem to have, and I couldn't find a way to contact the Dev to report the issue prior to release.

That being said, it is less that a quid to buy, so it's not an expensive game.than for a mildly inconvenient glitch.

This game really wasn't my cup of tea. It is listed as "Interactive Fiction", but there really isn't any interaction. it's effectively just clicking to turn the pages of this visual novel. There was no real "Game" aspect of the game.

Now if you are into a classic tale of misogynistic fantasy, seeing a toxic young man put in a position of power where he manipulates and abuses that power to sleep with the beautiful women in his care, with no interactivity or "gameplay" then yeah, you will probably enjoy it. Personally, the story made me feel pretty uncomfortable, but I appreciate that I am not the target audience. And the lack of things to do apart from click through the motions, meant I got bored quickly. Fortunately it isn't a long game. By the time I decided to bail, I was so close to the end, I decided to complete it, and I will confess that the only reason I got as far as I did was cause I was given the game for free as a Curator.

I will say that the artwork was good, and I quite liked the soundtrack, all very easy-going music, though the changes in tracks between "moods" was jarring at times. Even with a story that I am personally not a fan of, I would have liked to have had SOMETHING to do in the game. Some puzzle or mini-game or something to break up the story to keep me interested.

This is a great little game, and for £0.79 it's an absolute bargain. The atmosphere is spooky, there is a lot of fun cosmic horror crossovers, and I really like how they have imagined a cosmic horror alternate reality.

EXPECT SURPRISE BOOBIES! I was streaming this and had a very amusing panic covering them up. So if you are in a place where boobs would be inappropriate, just be aware of them in this game.

I would have liked to have seen some extra game features/options - Being able to go back to the previous area would have been good. I missed a fair amount of conversation I would like to have seen cause I accidentally hit the "Move-on" trigger. Some options around volume and not having subtitles all in capitols would also be good accessibility options.. but for a 79p game, I can't really complain.

What a game! I was drawn in by the unique concept of playing as a one-armed torso and just couldn't get enough. Each step of the game was a new challenge, and just when you think you have it all down, BOOM, another new element pops in to mix it up.

I have to say that the most infuriating part of the game was the map function, much as it's super helpful, but the sheer amount of times that I got killed cause I accidentally opened the map was too many to count.

Despite that though, I thoroughly enjoyed every challenge, frustrating as they were.

If you want a pretty unique indie horror experience, I have to strongly recommend this game!

I will openly state that I never played season 1 of Lilith Rising. I was sent a key for the game from the Devs in order to review it and I went in cluelessly.

First and foremost, given that this is the second game in the series, which is evidently heavily reliant on the story of the first game, I was expecting some description of a recap of the first game... but no, we are thrown in with characters that appear to have some description of relationship and no concept of the journey they have been on so far. The first 40 mins of the game are pretty much party introductions, but despite meeting them all, we get barely any hints about what has happened in the previous season.

As for the game itself, the graphics are very basic, and the English version could do with a proof read. No disrespect for English not being a first language for the dev team (I appreciate them making an English version), but many of the sentence structures don't make sense. On top of that, the body language and facial expressions of the characters do not match what is being said. I am not sure if this is a translation issue or just bad design, but it is disjointing when trying to follow what is going on.

Speaking of the use of language... the sex scenes were a struggle to get through for me. I can get through basic graphics, and simplistic cycling animations, but the language was what I really struggled with. Words like "Love rod", "Member", and "Love cave" scream badly written erotica, and are honestly pretty cringe-worthy. I am not sure if they used an auto-translate tool to get the English translation (though that may explain the earlier sentence structures) but the game really needs some proofreading to ensure that they can avoid these little hiccups.

The fact that this game was made by the same folks that made "The Good Time Garden" meant this game already had kudos points. Honestly, The game is a surreal, comedic, surrealist-dark-humour adventure that would appeal to most people... BUT the fact that it is set in Yorkshire and that I am FROM Yorkshire made the humour all the more prevalent!! There are levels of nuance that you simply don't get unless you are from the region.

If you like the untitled goose game, and enjoy the old surrealist UK humour of the two ronnies, monty python etc. this game is for you... and if you are from Yorkshire... There are LEVELS of genuine joy, that this game will provide!

Credit where credit is due, the game is cheap so I cannot say I was expecting a lot from it. It is effectively a series of mini-games and for each success you get nude images from your competitor... apart from the massage one where it gets to full sex (not fully sure about some of the others, only completed a couple before I got bored).

For full clarity, I was sent this game for free by the dev's to review. I do my best to never let that cloud my honest opinion, but I like to be clear about that fact.

In regards to my personal thoughts, I was not a fan. The mini-games were fun initially, but they lacked variety, and I got bored easily. Had I not been reviewing the game, I would have stopped playing long before I actually did. The graphics seem to be pretty standard CG Models with what looks like stock skins on them, and the positions they are posed in are often unnatural. But the thing that broke the immersion above ALL ELSE was the weird monotone TTS. I assume it was Text-to-speech and not AI voice cause of how COMPLETELY unnatural it sounded. I literally spat out my drink when one of the girls asked me to caress them inappropriately, as the tone and pacing was given in the same manner as the automated messages when ringing a call centre.

Now I went "all the way" with the lady in the massage parlour, and as a Sex Educator I have to add, DON'T use massage equipment as a sex toy... and DEFINITELY not with Massage Oil as lube. That stuff is NOT BODY SAFE for penetration. There are a million ways to reenact the fantasy without giving people bad practices to copy!

Realistically, the quality matches the asking price, but I cannot say I was a fan.

It's a clicker game. The more you click, the further you get. The art work is nice and thematic. I genuinely thought as you upgraded, you would be able to use the implement/tools on the elves... but no. As a result, I got super bored of this game super quickly. Not a long game either, took me less than 30 mins to complete the entire thing.

Not my cup of tea, but if you like clicker games that don't take long and have animated pictures of Anime Elves, then hey, this is the one for you.
