I have many things to say about this game; it WAS good, it WAS worth it and it WAS popular, but it seems like a distant memory now, especially when the devs messed things up. In the aspect of them not listening to their fanbase. It seemed like they didnt care but look as to what its come to now, they've abandoned it and began to work on a new game. However if they do the same thing as they did in this game it wont go much further than this,

But lets focus on when the game first came out, it was popular, fun and had an enjoyable aspect to it. The combat was decent and the crafting element of the game was a new experience which made it better. Like when you rush into a building, find no melee weapon and think "No worries ill craft a spear and try my luck". That was one of my favourite things about the game, but then everything went downhill when they nerfed the hell out of craftable wepons until they did around 15 damage per hit and findable weapons like the baseball bat and metal spear were so OP. There was also the backstab element we must not forget about too, it gave people with crap weapons a fighting chance against fully geared people by allowing them to sneak up and charge their hit with a backstab. But like i mentioned earlier they nerfed it, making it a 30-35 damage full charge backstab with most of the perks increasing backstab damage.

However the thing that killed the game the most was when the devs completly overhauled the melee combat system, at first thought i didnt think it would be so bad thinking "it'll give new players a chance to get used to the combat system without geting killed by tryhards", but boy was i wrong. After the patch i hoped into a game and found myself a fight, and i got killed in 3 hits after every hit went straight through my counter blocks. so i thought again "Not many people will like this new combat system so they will revert it back" but yet again was i wrong, they did the complete opposite, messing up the game even more making the game completly unplayable for new people. Thats why the game never grew that fast/so much.

From my current playtime in the game i cannot recommend this game at all. However if they listen to their fans for once (which they wont do so i dont know why im writing this) and revert the combat system to around May-June 2016 (dont listen to the steam release date, that when it came out of early access) then the game might just grow again and wont be a complete and utter waste of steam server storage. However the chances of them doing that are 0.01% as they have begun development on a new game and wont look at this game ever again, but i could be wrong.

EDIT: WOW! Im astonished, they did prove me wrong. They have decided due to their recent "Culling 2" failure, they have gone backl to the origional Culling and revert it back to its day 1 form. DAY 1, we'll finally have back the game we all know and loved!
